Foreign investment is an important component of open innovation. Not long ago, the new district held a centralized signing ceremony at an international investment and cooperation promotion conference. Ye Yisen, the deputy general manager of the Italian Ouchao International Group and one of the signing representatives, praised the new district on the spot. He introduced that the two sides had just come into contact at the beginning of the year, and only a few months later, the project was about to be inaugurated and launched.
Last June, Xinghu Industrial Park was officially opened. The total planned area of the park is 3.65 square kilometers, stretching from Shitou River in the north to Puyi Road in the south. It is expected that a number of high-end manufacturing projects will be implemented around the high-end, intelligent and green development of the manufacturing industry.
At present, the first phase of the project has been initiated, and the main structure of the steel frame of the first industrial project 08-12 carrier has been successfully hoisted. During this process, more and more high-quality projects have gradually been implemented, and the China-Europe (Nanjing) Industrial Park project is one of them. This project is jointly carried out by Xinghu Industrial Park and the Italian Ouchao International Group. They have selected 89 mu of land within Xinghu Industrial Park to build an international industrial park with a total construction area of approximately 120,000 square meters.
The founder of the Italian Ouchao International Group is an Italian overseas Chinese who has been rooted in Europe for many years and possesses abundant industrial resources. Ye Yisen said, “We hope to play the role of a ‘bridge’, promoting the investment environment and policy advantages of Jiangbei New Area to enterprises in Italy and other European countries, and attracting more high-quality projects, especially hidden champions and family businesses in the high-end precision manufacturing field from Central and Western European countries such as Germany and Italy, to come here.”
At the same time, it also provides one-stop consulting services including law, taxation, market and policy for European enterprises that hope to enter the Chinese market, builds high-quality standard factories, office buildings, international reception halls, international technology transfer centers and other supporting facilities, and promotes local incubation. Ye Yisen said. During the overall connection, what impressed the new district the most was its efficiency. Many procedures and plans were handled by professionals, so the progress was very fast. At present, we have also made contact with some foreign-funded enterprises, mainly focusing on new materials and new energy. Ye Yisen introduced.
It is learned that the China-Europe (Nanjing) Industrial Park project will start construction within this year and is expected to be completed and put into use in 2027.
