Recently, the Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone welcomed two leading enterprises in the field of modern agriculture – SIVETECH Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Zhi Lin You Guo Biotechnology Co., Ltd. They have officially signed agreements and settled down here, focusing on two cutting-edge directions: smart agriculture and biotechnology agriculture. These efforts will inject “new and dual” impetus into the region’s high-quality development.
Four-dimensional Ecology:
Building a benchmark factory for the integration of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries
Four-dimensional Ecology is a national-level specialized, innovative, distinctive, and high-tech “little giant” enterprise, a high-tech enterprise, and a technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise. It has grown into a global leading provider of plant factory equipment and a comprehensive service platform. Currently, the company has established 17 bases across the country, with a total project area exceeding 140,000 square meters. Its overseas business covers multiple countries and regions such as North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
This time, an investment of 50 million yuan is planned in the Agricultural High-tech Zone to build a three-sector integration demonstration project of smart plant factories. It will be regarded as the first project in Jiangsu Province and will be used to create a national-level smart agriculture display model. The project will cover smart plant factories, a research and education center, and a high-quality agricultural tourism and culture section. It will also introduce cross-border e-commerce business to expand the overseas sales channels of related products.
Planting Optima Valley:
Establishment of a research, development and production headquarters base
Zhenglian Yougu is a national-level technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise. It is the pioneer enterprise in China to pioneer the industrialization of RNA biological pesticides. Relying on the core research team from the Molecular Plant Science Outstanding Innovation Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it has grown into the leading entity in this specific market segment in China. Zhenglian Yougu focuses on the research and industrialization of cutting-edge RNA biological pesticides and possesses a complete set of independent core technologies. It is now on the verge of a crucial step towards large-scale implementation.
The “Planting Excellence Valley” project plans to invest 100 million yuan to build a biopesticide research and development center, production base, sales center and headquarters operation management framework in the Agricultural High-tech Zone. The project is based on RNA interference technology as its core logic, developing highly effective RNA biopesticide products for agricultural pests and diseases. Once completed, it will be able to achieve an annual production capacity of 10 tons of dsRNA biopesticides.
The two projects signed this time have high technological content.

In recent years, Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone has been focusing on the theme of green and intelligent agriculture and the leading industry of biological agriculture, accelerating the construction of an international agricultural science and technology cooperation demonstration zone, a scientific and technological innovation source for the Yangtze River Delta agriculture, and a model area for rural revitalization through science and technology. By 2025, it will add 8 new smart agriculture application scenarios, jointly build a smart agriculture fruit and vegetable production demonstration base with the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute has been selected for the list of national-level modern agricultural science and technology experimental demonstration bases, and Zhongmao Food has been selected as a provincial-level agricultural leading enterprise.
The relevant officials from Nanjing National Agricultural High-tech Zone stated that they will continue to seek breakthroughs in areas such as smart agriculture and biotechnology agriculture, accelerate the establishment of large-scale planting demonstration bases and other advanced technology and production model demonstration systems, explore the high-quality development path of modern agriculture in the developed eastern regions, promote the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas and achieve new progress in agricultural and rural modernization, and contribute solid strength to the goal of building an agricultural power.
