Professional Guidance for Work Visa Processing
Step1: Prepare Materials for the Foreign Talent Work Permit
·Passport: Digital color scan of the passport’s main page.
·Photo: Digital version of a two-inch color photo with a white background.
·Medical Certificate:
· For foreign nationals abroad: Get a health check at a hospital designated by the local Chinese embassy.
·For foreign nationals in China: Visit the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau via the Public Security Bureau.
·No Criminal Record Certificate: Notarized by the applicant’s home country and certified by the local Chinese embassy.
·Highest Degree Certificate: Certified by the Chinese embassy/consulate in the applicant’s country or recognized by Chinese academic authorities.
·Work Qualification Certificate: Proof of at least two years of relevant work experience. For Class A talents, work proof may not be required.
·Employment Contract or Job Offer Letter: Signed labor contract between the foreign talent and the employer.
Step 2: Register Temporary Accommodation (To Be Done by the Talent in Person)
Required materials:
Passport, passport photo, employment contract, temporary accommodation registration form, residence permit application letter, medical certificate, rental agreement, and property ownership certificate.
The company representative and the foreign talent must visit the local police station with the above materials to register temporary accommodation.
Step 3: Apply for a Work Visa for Foreign Talent
The company representative and the foreign talent must bring all original documents to the Entry-Exit Bureau for an in-person interview to apply for the work visa.
