On March 20th, the project for the high-end food Asia-Pacific headquarters and R&D production base, invested and constructed by the Polish food ingredients group, was officially launched in the Airport Area of Jiangning Development Zone in Nanjing. This reflects the group’s firm determination to deeply engage in Nanjing and serve the Chinese market for the long term, and it is also a new achievement of Jiangning’s commitment to high-level opening-up.
The Polish Food Ingredients Group was established in 2001. It is an international food ingredients company that deals with products such as carrageenan, natural flavors and dietary fibers. It has production bases in Europe, North America and Southeast Asia, and its products are sold in over 100 countries around the world. The company has rich experience in the entire production chain of dietary fibers, including raw material, production, quality control and sales.
To expand the market in the Asia-Pacific region, the Polish food ingredients group plans to strengthen cooperation with Jiangning Development Zone and build a project for the Polish high-end food Asia-Pacific headquarters and R&D production base in Nanjing Airport Economic Zone. This includes an Asia-Pacific R&D center for new product development, as well as technical support based on the R&D center in the Polish headquarters. The project will be launched in phases (for liquid/powder) natural flavor production. It is expected that the project will achieve annual revenue of no less than 110 million yuan after its completion.
The Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai, Adam Blarzegick, said in his speech that the friendship between China and Poland has a long history and their economic and trade exchanges are close. He hopes that the Polish Food Ingredients Group and Jiangning District will take this cooperation as a new starting point, jointly promote more high-quality resources to be implemented, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. At the same time, he hopes that more Polish enterprises will invest in China to promote the sustainable development of the friendly relations between China and Poland.
The President of the Polish Food Ingredients Group, Artur Bednarz, said that choosing to invest in Jiangning again is not only a strategic choice but also an inevitable continuation based on trust and recognition. Looking to the future, they will take Jiangning as an important pivot, combine the advanced food ingredients technology from Europe with the huge potential of the Chinese market, and create an innovation center that faces Asia and radiates globally.
