Three rounds of investment, an additional 2 billion yuan! Jiangsu Xinhan’s new project is now officially launched in the new district.

On March 14th, the signing ceremony for the Jiangsu Xinhan High-Performance Resin and Composite Materials Integrated Project was held. Lu Weidong, the Party Secretary and Director of Jiangbei New District, and Yan Liuxin, the Chairman of Jiangsu Xinhan New Materials Co., Ltd., as well as Tao Lei, a member of the Party Committee of Jiangbei New District and the Deputy Director of the Management Committee, attended the event.

Jiangsu Xinhan New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 2008 and is located in the New Materials Science Park of Nanjing Jiangbei New District. In 2021, it was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s Growth Enterprise Market and is a national-level “Small and Medium-sized Innovative Enterprise” specializing in high-tech. The company focuses on the research, production and sales of aromatic ketone fine chemicals, and its products are widely used in aerospace, new energy, electronic information and other industries. As a key supplier of the critical monomer for polyetheretherketone (PEEK), the company’s technical level and product quality have reached international advanced levels, and it occupies an important position in the global industry leader’s supply chain.
The signing of this “High-performance Resin and Composite Materials Integration” project is the third strategic investment by Jiangsu Xinhan since its establishment in Jiangbei. According to the agreement, the total investment of this project is 2 billion yuan, and it will be constructed in two phases. It focuses on the high-end market of PEEK (polyetheretherketone) and thermoplastic composites, aiming to break through the key material technology bottlenecks, build an industry-leading integrated base of “core monomer – high-performance resin – composite materials” for PEEK materials, enhance the autonomy of the industrial chain, and contribute to the strengthening of the industrial cluster of new materials in the new district and improving efficiency and quality.

Lu Weidong stated that Jiangsu Xinhan is a long-time friend of the new district. Over the past 18 years, the two sides have always worked together, maintaining mutual trust and mutual benefit, becoming a model of “win-win cooperation and common prosperity”. This signing ceremony is an important milestone for the further deepening of practical cooperation between the two sides, fully demonstrating the enterprises’ trust in the new district and their recognition of the local business environment. It also showcases the enterprises’ firm determination to deeply engage in the north area and develop together with the new district. It is hoped that both sides will take this as an opportunity, set clear target nodes, activate development momentum at the speed of project construction; focus on technological frontiers, lead the level-up with the power of scientific and technological innovation; continuously expand cooperation, and build an industrial ecosystem through cluster development, to inject strong momentum into the construction of a new materials base with competitiveness and industry influence in the new district.
