The project is positioned as the Jiangsu regional operation center of Hema Fresh. It uses advanced Internet technology to establish an open, transparent and shared data application platform to provide high-quality services to various types of companies such as e-commerce companies, logistics companies, warehousing companies, third-party logistics service providers, and supply chain service providers. The project will effectively support the supply chain of products in stores and B2C new retail businesses in this region, and ultimately form a high-end infrastructure for the fresh food industry.
The project was invested and constructed by Nanjing Chuantai Internet of Things Technology Co., Ltd., whose investor is Cainiao Network Technology Co., Ltd. Cainiao Network Technology Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Hema Network Technology Co., Ltd. are both subsidiaries of Alibaba Group.
Founded in 2013, Cainiao Network is China’s leading e-commerce integrated supply chain solution provider, helping brands and merchants to easily cope with complex omni-channel supply chain challenges.
Currently, Hema Fresh has 23 stores in Nanjing.

Hema Fresh plans to expand to Nanjing and surrounding areas
Open no less than 10 new stores
The commissioning of this project will enable global fresh products to enter Nanjing through more convenient and efficient cold chain logistics and transportation, providing convenience for Nanjing residents to live a high-quality life. At the same time, it will reduce the logistics cost and speed up the circulation of Nanjing agricultural products sold nationwide. After the project is fully put into production, the annual output value will exceed 2.46 billion yuan and provide more than 1,500 jobs.
