This year, Lishui rural logistics will present a “new scene”: an express delivery starts from the district-level rural logistics centralized distribution center, passes through 8 town-level “postal express supply” service stations, and finally is sent by village and town buses to the village-level service points, and villagers can send express delivery at their doorsteps. With the acceleration of the construction of the district-level rural logistics centralized distribution center, the “big heart” of Lishui rural logistics, this scenario will become a reality.
The Lishui District Rural Logistics Centralized Distribution Center project is located in the west of Yuxiu Road and the south of Xingzhuang Road, Yongyang Street, covering an area of 40 acres and a construction area of more than 30,000 square meters. Xiaoli’s on-the-spot visit saw that the tower cranes and scaffolding at the construction site stood tall, and the construction personnel were working in an orderly manner with the cooperation of various construction machinery, which was in full swing.
Shen Guoqiang, the project leader, said that at present, the foundation works have been completed, the earthwork has been completed by 80%, and the construction of the main one-story structure has been completed by 30%, and the main body is expected to be capped in mid-May and delivered in September.
The Lishui District Rural Logistics Centralized Distribution Center Project is a key project in Lishui District to promote the reform of “Express Mail +”, which will be equipped with automation, intelligent sorting, warehousing and other facilities and equipment, and realize the whole process of rural logistics at the district level by guiding the express delivery companies to station, and promote the “express delivery into the village” to reduce costs and increase efficiency. The relevant person in charge of the District Transportation Bureau said that with the construction and commissioning of the logistics center, the three-level logistics site system of the “postal express supply” district, town and village in Lishui District will achieve a closed loop.
In recent years, Lishui District has given full play to the advantages of “multi-district superposition” such as Nanjing National Agricultural High Zone, National Urban-Rural Integration Development Pilot Zone, and National Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, actively explored the integration model of “fast delivery”, promoted the sharing of resources such as public transportation, postal services, express delivery, supply and marketing, etc., focused on resource integration, let logistics blockages be connected, focused on the combination of points and surfaces, and raised operational efficiency, focused on deep coupling, made more service scenarios, focused on collaborative distribution, and made farmers’ incomes higher, so as to open up the “first kilometer” of agricultural products into the city and consumer goods to the countryside “last mile”. The reform experience was successfully selected as a typical case of China’s reform in 2023 and a typical case of high-quality development of the national “four good rural roads” in 2024.
