Customized personalized car, 8 days from order to delivery。
On the morning of January 18, Mr. Xu, who lives in Hefei, smoothly mentioned a star-gray dark blue S07 new car. “The order was placed on January 11, and I didn’t expect it to be delivered so soon, just in time to open a new car in the New Year.” Mr. Xu said happily.
Mr. Xu’s new car is made in Nanjing Changan. Chen Long, director of Nanjing Changan production planning Office, took reporters to understand the customization process of a new energy vehicle.
“Every 12 hours, the sales company will submit a batch of orders to the factory. When the factory receives the order, the system automatically converts the order into a ‘four-segment code’ of numbers and letters.” Chen Long introduced that the “four-segment code” has 28 digits, and the first segment has 13 digits, a total of 5 combinations, respectively representing 5 types of models with different mileage; The second paragraph includes the country code and vehicle version information, the Deep Blue S07 has been sold in 26 countries and regions around the world, a total of 4 versions to choose from; The third and fourth paragraphs represent the exterior, interior and package information of the vehicle respectively.
Through the “four-segment code” of Mr. Xu’s order, it can be seen that he customized this car is a 215MAX extended range version, and did not choose the intelligent driving system, but chose 20-inch hurricane wheels and Dunlop tires.
The “four-segment code” is imported into the APS system of the factory (advanced production planning and scheduling system), the system will automatically retrieve whether there is a current car, if there is no current car, it will be included in the production queue of the factory to wait for production, and release material requirements by analyzing the “four-segment code”, and issue task instructions to all production links, at the same time, the system automatically generates the new car ID.
“The ‘four-segment code’ of the vehicle may be the same, but the ID is unique and, like an ID card, ensures a one-to-one match between the car and the owner.” Chen Long said that a car has more than 2,000 parts, involving stamping, welding, painting, final assembly and other four links, a total of more than 600 processes, when the production sequence is determined, the scheduling of more than 600 processes is also determined accordingly, the factory only needs to produce according to the established schedule.
Chen Long told reporters that the normal delivery time of customized cars is 2-4 weeks, but in the case of sufficient parts and delivery location close to the factory, the delivery can be completed in 8 days.
“Strongest brain” command, more than 3,000 personality combinations freely switch。
There are more than 3000 kinds of customizable combinations of Deep Blue S07, so many combinations, how to achieve personalized customization? This is inseparable from the intelligent manufacturing scenario and digital operation system of the factory.
Into the Nanjing Changan workshop, I saw a variety of mechanical arms waved in an orderly manner, countless AGV robots shuttled in the production line, and the staff only needed to point their fingers to operate the console.
Stamping is the first step in automobile manufacturing. In the press shop, giant presses rhythmically shape sheets of metal accurately, then two robotic arms pick them up and carry them to the next step. Along the automated production line, the doors, covers, roofs and other parts are molded off the line and quickly sent to the welding shop. According to reports, the automation rate of stamping workshop and welding workshop is 95% and 98% respectively.
As an important base for Changan Automobile in East China, Nanjing Changan has applied a large number of intelligent manufacturing technologies. Cheng Yinsheng, manager of Nanjing Changan Manufacturing Department, introduced that in five major workshops such as stamping, welding, painting, assembly and battery, through 5G network and Internet of Things platform, the factory invested more than 400 mobile robots, and used big data and other technologies to create 68 5G+ intelligent manufacturing scenes such as “5G+ vision” and “5G+ industrial control”, which is equivalent to installing the “strongest brain” to the factory.
The “strongest brain” also extends to logistics and warehousing. “When the order enters the production queue, the warehouse system will receive the demand for materials, and if the stock is insufficient, the demand will be sent to the supplier through the AI supply chain system.” Feng Hua, director of logistics technology of Nanjing Changan Logistics Department, introduced that the network collaborative manufacturing platform based on industrial Internet technology can realize the interconnection of material information and suppliers.
In order to ensure the safety and accuracy of vehicles, Nanjing Changan sets up multiple “quality walls” through technologies such as vision and big data analysis. The reporter saw in the assembly workshop that the tires were transmitted to the installation station through an air track in sequence, the elevator sent to the installation point, and the robot tightened the bolts to complete the installation. Cheng Yinsheng introduced that there are currently 19 inch star closed wheels and 20 inch hurricane wheels two options, in the warehouse packaging has been sorted according to the order schedule, the robot senses the tire, will be compared through visual technology, and check again after the assembly.
“There are layers of checks to ensure that every vehicle is delivered with high quality.” Cheng Yinsheng said that with the blessing of the “strongest brain”, the factory manufacturing sequence rate is more than 90%, which can meet more than 3,000 kinds of personalized customized free switching.
New models will soon be ushered in, driving the industrial chain cluster。
Deep Blue S07 is the main model currently produced by Nanjing Changan Smart Factory, because it is equipped with Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving system and Deep Blue super range extension system, the market has received a warm response after the launch, and the sales exceeded 60,000 units in half a year. Wang Yingbin, director of the new energy intelligent room of Nanjing Changan Technology Department, told reporters that after more than a year of optimization and improvement, the current production efficiency of Nanjing Changan has been increased from 25 units/hour to 35 units/hour, which is equivalent to a new car every 102 seconds.
At the beginning of the New Year, Nanjing Changan is gearing up for the production of new models while ensuring delivery. It is understood that the new model is expected to be launched in the first quarter of this year. The relevant person in charge of Nanjing Changan said that the efficiency will be improved again this year, and the target is not less than 100,000 vehicles.
