On October 22nd, the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone – Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications University-Industry-Enterprise Collaborative Innovation Matching Conference (Zhuogong College Smart Grid Special Session) and the first round of matching and exchange activities between the Artificial Intelligence Industry Science and Technology Town Mayor’s Group and the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Team were held in Hongfeng Science and Technology Park. Zhong Kai, deputy director of the Management Committee of Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, director of the Nanjing Artificial Intelligence Industry Science and Technology Town Mayor’s Group, and director of the School-Local Co-construction Office of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Zhang Tengfei, executive vice president of the Graduate School and the School of Outstanding Engineers of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, attended. Members of the Nanjing Artificial Intelligence Industry Group of the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Town Mayor’s Group and the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Service Team were also present. Professors and experts from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, as well as the head of Zhuogong College, relevant officials from the Science and Technology Talent Bureau of Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, and the heads of key enterprises in the smart grid and new energy fields of the park such as Nanjing Electric, LG Energy Solution, and Kangni New Energy attended.
Zhong Kai pointed out that this event brought together the actual demands of university talent innovation and enterprise development, effectively integrating resources such as investment and financing, scientific and technological talents, and scientific and technological innovation carriers. It was highly efficient in connection, clear in the direction of collaboration, and practical in resource connection. Zhang Tengfei, centering on the theme of “Implementing Jiangsu’s High-Quality Development Strategy Demands and Accelerating ‘Dual-High Synergy'”, comprehensively introduced the disciplinary background, research platforms, school-enterprise cooperation situation of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, as well as the talent cultivation model, scale and level of the Zhuogong College. He expressed the willingness to conduct in-depth cooperation with Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, enterprises and other parties. Join hands to build a mutually beneficial “resource community”, an open and inclusive “academic community”, and a “community of interests” for school-enterprise cooperation. The Science and Technology Talent Bureau of Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone comprehensively introduced the economic development, scientific and technological innovation, and industrial innovation of the park. Resource and demand matching between schools and enterprises
The heads of the School of Automation of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Research Center for Zero-Carbon Operation Control of Active Distribution Networks, and other schools and research platforms introduced the application cases, research achievements, and research directions of their respective research teams in the fields of smart grids, high-voltage energy storage, and wireless charging. Representatives from key enterprises in the smart grid and new energy industry chain of the park, such as Nanjing Electric, LG Energy Solution, Kangni New Energy, Yonggui New Energy, Diwa Permanent Magnet, and Helong Optimization, spoke in turn, introducing their business development, technological innovation situations, and technological research and development demands. They expressed their willingness to carry out technological cooperation and talent introduction in fields such as distributed photovoltaic, battery design, and insulating materials And had in-depth discussions and exchanges with the research team of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
The mayor’s group and the small team met and exchanged views for the first time
This event also marks the first meeting and exchange between the Nanjing Artificial Intelligence Industry Group of the 18th batch of Jiangsu Province’s Science and Technology Town Mayors’ Group and the Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Team stationed at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Members of the mayor’s group and small teams come from various fields such as Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing Tech University, the Social Work Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Pukou Economic Development Zone, Nanjing State-owned Assets Mixed Reform Fund Co., LTD., and Nanjing Xingang Biomedical Technology Development Co., LTD. To enhance work coordination, the members successively introduced their educational backgrounds, work experiences, and professional strengths, etc. In-depth exchanges were held on how to better leverage their own advantages, promote “dual-high synergy”, and enhance cooperation among industry, academia and research.
