This selection requires that there are 10 or more traditional villages in Jiangsu Province in the county, and the villages are relatively concentrated and have good overall style; in the construction of traditional village protection mechanism, the protection and revitalization of traditional buildings, the protection of historical environmental elements, and the protection and inheritance of traditional culture Outstanding achievements have been made in improving the living environment, cultivating rural industry development, introducing public welfare forces and social capital, and digitalizing traditional village protection.

　　One is the Anti-Japanese War Command Center called “Little Yan’an in Southern Jiangsu” by historians, and the other is an ancient fishing village with a history of 700 years. As early as 2023, Shitou Zhai Village in Baima Town and Zhangjia Village in Hefeng Town have become national-level traditional villages. list, Lishui has become the only district in the city with two national-level traditional villages.

Shitouzhai Village, Baima Town, is a village famous for its history of Anti-Japanese War. This was the place where the earliest party branch was established in the Lishui area, and it has a profound red cultural heritage. Walking into the village, there are more than 20 red relics and ruins, including the ruins of the Youth Anti-Japanese and National Salvation Training Class and the New Fourth Army’s Sunan Maoshan Military Division Arsenal, telling the story of those war-torn years.　　In addition to “red”, Shitouzhai also has “blue and black”. As the “No. 1 Blueberry and Blackberry Village” known far and wide, the blueberries and blackberries here are of high quality and have become a “golden fruit” for the villagers to increase their income and become rich. The opening of the red tourism education base “Red Li Lane” closely integrates the inheritance of red culture with pastoral rural construction and the planting of special agricultural products, allowing tourists to touch red history and experience red pastoralism while visiting villages and tasting berries.

ancient fishing village located on 
the east bank of Shijiu Lake . The clans here have lived with the water and the lake for generations, living a peaceful and prosperous life.

Strolling along the winding and quiet bluestone road in Zhujia Village, you can see traces of time and space carved everywhere. 23 well-preserved century-old houses, like guardians of history, quietly tell the long past of this ancient village.
　　Today, Zhangjiacun continues to explore the development and utilization of ancient villages. Modern leisure methods such as country camping, night sky stargazing, and self-driving around the lake have given this ancient village new vitality and charm.

The Chen family ancestral hall with a history of more than 100 years, the Chen Chunbao old house built in 1854, and the Guanyin Temple, as well as the thousand-year-old cypress, Xie family golden osmanthus, and Baogu stone… The ancient elements fully demonstrate the rich historical heritage of Shannan Village.

Every year in the twelfth lunar month, accompanied by the cheerful rhythm of gongs and drums, more than 500 villagers surnamed Yang in Luoshan Village, Hefeng Town, will dance the Luoshan Dragon, which they are proud of, forming a unique folk scenery in the village. The Luoshan Dragon is known as the “Biggest Dragon in the South of the Yangtze River” and is a national intangible cultural heritage. In recent years, relying on the good location of Shijiu Lake, Luoshan Village has actively developed the tourism industry and created the core carrier of lakeside sightseeing and camping, attracting many tourists to come and experience it.
