On November 18th, the “Ninggongpintui” commercial vehicle industry supply and demand matching and battery swap safety National standard promotion event was successfully held in Nanjing. This event is guided by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Nanjing City, and is hosted by the National Technical Committee for Automotive Standards and the Automotive Branch of the China Association for Standardization. It is jointly organized by the Jiangsu Automobile Industry Association, Nanjing Xingong Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Diantou Yichong New Energy Technology Co., LTD. Nearly 100 expert representatives from domestic commercial vehicle manufacturers, key systems, industry associations, testing institutions and research institutes attended this conference.

During the “Ninggongpintui” commercial vehicle industry supply and demand matching session, Jiangsu Dianlala New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. showcased its mobile battery swapping technology products for electric heavy-duty trucks. Through efficient communication, it reached cooperation intentions with multiple parties including vehicle manufacturers, battery producers, and logistics and transportation companies. The commercial vehicle manufacturing enterprises and power battery enterprises in our city also had in-depth exchanges with the participants on their respective technical products. Subsequently, all parties will deepen cooperation in areas such as the joint construction of cross-regional battery swapping networks and customized energy replenishment solutions, to help address the development pain points of the industry.

During the national standard promotion session, Song Xudong, the president of Jiangsu Automobile Industry Association, and Liu Guibin, the senior technical director of China Automotive Standards Research Institute, delivered speeches respectively. Experts from China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. and China Automotive Technology and Research Center (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. provided detailed introductions and answered questions on the spot around three major themes: technical requirement standards, test method standards, and policy updates. The person in charge of Jiangsu Diantou Yichong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. shared the process and implementation experience of participating in the standard formulation from the perspective of the enterprise. The on-site communication was lively and the event received a good response.

As a national pilot city for the application of battery swapping models, Nanjing will take this event as an opportunity to adhere to standard guidance, encourage enterprises to increase investment in technological research and development, strengthen the coordination of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and build a safe, efficient and sustainable commercial vehicle battery swapping ecosystem, injecting strong impetus into the green and low-carbon transformation of the transportation industry.
