On September 10th, the “Ning Gong Pin Tui” – Smart Grid Industry “Central and Local” Enterprise Matching Conference was held in Gulou District. The conference was hosted by the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and organized by the Gulou High-tech Zone Management Committee and the Gulou District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. Ten central enterprises’ companies in Nanjing, including State Grid Jiangsu Company, Guoneng Jiangsu Company and Guotou Jiangsu Company, as well as 34 smart grid industry enterprises within the province, attended the event and conducted supply and demand matching.
The conference received strong support from the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province. Li Jiancheng, the deputy director of the Department, attended and delivered a speech. Director Li pointed out that Jiangsu is a major province in the new power equipment industry, with the largest scale and total volume in the country. With the accelerated pace of energy transition both at home and abroad, especially the recent commencement of key national projects such as the hydropower project in the lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, the new power equipment industry has ushered in an important period of development opportunities. It is hoped that through this event, a regular connection mechanism between the central and local governments can be established, further deepening cooperation and exchanges to achieve a win-win situation for the development of central enterprises and local enterprises.
The main purpose of this meeting is: on the one hand, to seize the development opportunities of the power industry during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, jointly look forward to the “15th Five-Year Plan” goals and vision of the advanced manufacturing cluster of new power equipment (smart grid) in Nanjing, and explore the planning and development path. On the other hand, it is also to fully leverage the advantage of the concentration of central energy and power enterprises in Nanjing, give full play to the leading role of central enterprises in the industrial chain, enhance the supply level of the smart grid manufacturing industry in our city, and promote the integrated development of “central and local” enterprises.
At the meeting, Chen Lei from China International Engineering Consulting Corporation gave a special presentation on the “Development Trends of the Smart Grid Industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period”, providing professional guidance. Representatives from two central enterprises, Huadian Jiangsu Company and State Power Investment Corporation Jiangsu Electric Power Company, shared their development plans and demands for industrial chain cooperation. Four enterprises, including Langkun Technology and Huapeng Transformer, introduced new technologies and products. The Gulou High-tech Zone made a promotion of the development ecosystem of the smart grid industry within its jurisdiction.
Next, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will, as always, provide excellent services to enterprises, promote the connection between the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, smooth the communication and exchange channels among enterprises within the cluster, and facilitate win-win cooperation and common development for both supply and demand sides.
