On September 1st, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 3,000-unit collaborative robot industrialization base project of Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing was held in the Research and Innovation Park of the new District. The project is committed to building an internationally leading intelligent industrial base integrating R&D, production, testing and application. Lu Weidong, Party Secretary of Jiangbei New Area and Party Secretary of Pukou District, Huang Lixia, Party Secretary of Jiangsu Institute of Industrial Technology, Luo Minzhou, Chairman of Jiangsu Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research Institute Co., LTD., and Chen Wenbin, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Jiangbei New Area, attended the event.
Jiangsu Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established in the New District Research and Innovation Park in 2016. Its main business directions are collaborative robots, indoor unmanned vehicles, and it provides intelligent factories and their solutions. Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing has won the Excellent Award in the performance assessment of new research and development institutions in Nanjing for many times. It has applied for a total of over 300 patents and software Copyrights, and has been granted 57 invention patents. The coffee robots, welding robots and collaborative robots it has developed and produced are exported overseas, which confirms the resonance between technology and the market.
The Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing 3,000-unit collaborative robot industrialization base project, which has just started construction, has a total investment of 130 million yuan. It will build a 20,000-square-meter factory. In the design of the automated production line, it adopts a dual path of modularization and flexibility to meet the order demands of multiple varieties and batches. The delivery cycle has been compressed to 30 days, with efficiency increased by 50%. An AI scheduling system has been introduced to increase production capacity by 300%. Truly achieve efficient mass production. In the next three years, Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing will strive to achieve an annual production of nearly 10,000 intelligent robots, with its products sold to 80 countries and regions around the world. At the same time, leverage the advantages of the leading enterprise in the embodied intelligent robot chain to help the new district attract dozens of core robot component enterprises.
Lu Weidong stated that since its establishment, Jiecui Intelligent Manufacturing has been deeply engaged in the north of the Yangtze River and has a global layout. It has been actively developing robot products suitable for various innovative scenarios and has broken through multiple key technologies in core component research and development, AI control algorithms, and other aspects. The commencement of this project fully demonstrates Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing’s strategic boldness and forward-looking vision in deeply rooting itself in the development land of the new district and actively exploring a brand-new development situation. Once the base is completed, it will become an important force in the domestic collaborative robot field, further enhancing the industrial level and core competitiveness of Jiangbei New Area and even Jiangsu Province in the high-end equipment manufacturing sector. The Provincial Institute of Industrial Technology will, as always, support the development of Jicui Intelligent Manufacturing and provide full support and services for the project construction and subsequent operation. It is believed that this brand-new industrialization base will surely inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of the new district and contribute “concentrated strength” to writing a new chapter in the modernization of a “prosperous, strong, beautiful and high-quality” new Jiangsu.
Luo Minzhou stated that since its establishment in Jiangbei New Area nine years ago, Jiecui Intelligent Manufacturing has always adhered to the concept that innovation is the soul of development, continuously making breakthroughs in the field of intelligent robots, and achieving leading performance in core components.
