To thoroughly implement the relevant instructions and requirements of the municipal committee and the municipal government leaders on industrial breakthroughs, and further intensify the promotion of industrial breakthrough work such as the attraction of cybersecurity industry projects, on October 30th, the Municipal Office for Promoting the New Generation Information and Communication Industry Breakthrough organized and held the fifth special training session on (cybersecurity). More than 60 people, including fixed liaison personnel from the member units of the Municipal New Generation Information and Communication Industry Breakthrough Office, enterprise service teams and industrial investment promotion teams from the breakthrough offices of various districts, and investment promotion personnel from some parks, participated in the training.

The first topic of the training was delivered by Chief Engineer Wang Xiaopeng from the Communication Information Technology Research Institute of China Communications Services Consulting & Design Institute, with the theme of “Current Situation and Trends of Cybersecurity Industry Development”. Starting from the overall situation of the cybersecurity industry, he objectively analyzed the basic situation of China’s cybersecurity industry, dissected the competitive landscape of cybersecurity enterprises, and interpreted the hotspots of the cybersecurity industry. Put forward relevant investment promotion suggestions in light of the actual situation in Nanjing.
The second topic of the training was delivered by Lin Yubo, the director of the Strategic Planning and Design Institute of Qianxin Group, with the theme of “Analysis of the Cybersecurity Industry – New Trends and New Challenges”. Starting from a macro perspective of the cybersecurity industry, he analyzed the development trends of sub-sectors, systematically summarized the cutting-edge technologies in the industry, analyzed and commented on potential enterprises and their development, and summarized and refined novel viewpoints such as the seven driving forces of the industry.
Next, the Municipal Office for the Breakthrough of the New Generation Information and Communication Industry will continue to follow the work arrangements of the municipal committee and the municipal government, closely monitor the six major sub-sectors including 5G/6G, satellite Internet, optical communication, and future networks, and pay attention to extended industries such as cyber security.
