Anchoring on the construction goals of the new main urban area in the north of the Yangtze River to be “modern, international, refined, dynamic and ecological”, with the spirit of craftsmanship, the meticulousness of embroidery and the tenacity of hammering in nails, we will continuously enhance the refined and modernized level of urban governance and promote the high-quality and connotative development of the new main urban area. Lu Weidong, the Party Secretary of Jiangbei New Area and the Party Secretary of Pukou District, and He Jinxue, a member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Jiangbei New Area, attended the meeting.
The meeting released a three-year action plan for the construction of a refined Jiangbei, focusing on promoting “ten specific actions” : the “Blueprint Guidance” planning improvement action, highlighting the leading role of planning, implementing the chief engineer’s leading control mechanism, and strengthening urban spatial planning and design in accordance with the overall pattern of “seven parts blue and green and three parts urban”. The “Poetic and Comfortable Living” residential improvement initiative aims to comprehensively enhance housing quality, focus on promoting the upgrading of property services, and improve the level of residential services based on local conditions. The “Clean Home” environmental improvement campaign aims to establish an integrated cleaning standard system in the new district, dynamically eliminate hygiene blind spots, continuously deepen the “Toilet Revolution”, and create high-quality cleaning areas. The “Clear and Attractive” urban appearance improvement campaign focuses on key areas such as overhead poles and lines, outdoor advertising, street Spaces, and farmers’ markets, optimizing and enhancing the urban environment to beautify it. The “New Green North of the Yangtze River” greening improvement initiative focuses on implementing the “Double the Number of Flowers”, “Increase Greenery and Enhance Beauty”, and “Brand Park” plans, taking practical measures to add greenery to the city. The “New Day, Bright Night” lighting improvement campaign systematically builds a smart lighting maintenance system, continuously creates distinctive night landscapes, and constantly improves urban lighting work. The “Smooth and Orderly” transportation improvement campaign aims to accelerate the connection of the road network, optimize the supply of parking Spaces, implement hierarchical management of illegal parking of motor vehicles, and standardize the travel of non-motor vehicles. The “Craftsmanship for Urban Development” municipal improvement campaign focuses on the genuine feelings of the people, strives to address various basic municipal issues, and continuously enhances the comprehensive utilization of urban space. The “Jingcheng Yonggu” resilience enhancement initiative aims to establish a database of urban infrastructure, promote the standardization of engineering quality management, and strengthen the capacity building for water pollution control and intelligent governance. The “Leading the Trend” civilized new trend campaign actively promotes urban civilization construction, continuously increases the supply of cultural, tourism, sports and business services, and vigorously creates a youthful and vibrant atmosphere in the city.
We must focus on the action goals, concentrate on key breakthroughs, highlight precise planning, ingenious design, accurate approval, high-quality construction and meticulous management, and spare no effort to ensure the detailed implementation of all tasks related to the construction of a refined Jiangbei. It is necessary to strengthen organizational guarantees, improve the coordination mechanism, enhance the scientific and rigorous style and ability, create a strong atmosphere of joint construction and sharing, pool the wisdom of all parties, mobilize the strength of all parties, and gather the resources of all parties, so as to comprehensively gather a powerful synergy for the integrated advancement of the construction of a refined Jiangbei.
At the meeting The Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, the Construction and Transportation Bureau, the Jiangbei New District Traffic Management Bureau of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Central Business District, Jiangpu Sub-district and others respectively focused on “Creating a high-quality development model in the process of integrated and coordinated development”, “Building a quality living environment in the new main urban area with the ‘craftsmanship spirit'”, “Striving to upgrade the road traffic environment”, and “fully promoting the construction of the ‘city cover’ of the new main urban area in Jiangbei” “Contribute solid Jiangpu strength to the blueprint of the new main urban area in Jiangbei” and other remarks were made.
He Jinxue, a member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Jiangbei New Area, arranged the three-year action plan for the construction of a refined Jiangbei. The meeting was attended by the responsible persons of the Public Construction Center of the New District, Yangzi State-owned Assets Group, relevant departments and bureaus of the New District and Pukou District, industrial platforms, parks and streets, and directly affiliated state-owned enterprises.
