On December 7, the mobilization and deployment meeting for the ninth round of inspections of the third Gulou District Committee was held. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on inspections, conscientiously implemented the latest requirements of the Central, Provincial, Municipal and District Committees on inspections, and mobilized and deployed this round of inspections. This round of inspections should insist on checking risks, finding problems and promoting rectification throughout the entire process of inspections, and effectively play the role of “microscope” and “searchlight” of inspection supervision. We must thoroughly implement the deployment of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and in combination with the major reform tasks undertaken by the inspected party organizations, focus on whether their position on promoting reform is firm, their attitude is clear, their actions are strong, and their measures are effective. We must keep a close eye on party governance, strictly rectify corruption, strengthen supervision on the implementation of the “two responsibilities” of comprehensive and strict party governance, and deeply understand the “top leader”‘s performance of the first person in charge of comprehensive and strict party governance. We must accurately grasp the characteristics and laws of state-owned enterprises, focus on the strengthening, optimization and expansion of district-owned state-owned enterprises, as well as debt risks and investment and operation conditions, and thoroughly find the main contradictions, major risks, and outstanding problems that restrict the high-quality development of enterprises. We must strengthen supervision on solving the “urgent, difficult, and anxious” needs of the masses, and comprehensively investigate whether there are problems such as using power to set up rents and seek rents, using power for personal gain, and being indifferent to the demands of the masses, perfunctory, and cold and hard, so as to safeguard the fundamental rights and interests of the grassroots masses.
