On the morning of September 5th, the Management Committee of Nanjing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone and the Management Committee of Lishui Economic Development Zone jointly held a low-altitude economic industry investment matchmaking conference. The conference, themed “Chasing Dreams at Low Altitudes and Gathering Wisdom in Lishui”, brought together about 80 representatives from the government, universities, enterprises and investment institutions to discuss the development plans for the low-altitude economy and promote the implementation of industrial cooperation projects in Lishui. Wang Weijun, director of the Management Committee of Nanjing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, Hu Youliang, director of the Management Committee of Lishui Development Zone, and others attended.

At the meeting, the Management Committee of Nanjing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone signed a framework cooperation agreement on the low-altitude airworthiness inspection, testing and product center project with the 60th Research Institute of China Rongtong Group. The Management Committee of Lishui Economic Development Zone signed project intention cooperation agreements with Shaanxi Dapeng Aviation Engineering Co., Ltd. and Zero Boundary Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. respectively.

According to the cooperation agreement, Dapeng Airlines plans to invest and build a precision components research and development and production base in Lishui. Zero Boundary Technology will fully participate in the construction of Lishui’s low-altitude economic ecosystem, be responsible for the overall planning, construction and operation of the park, introduce industrial resources, and promote the implementation of application scenarios. Wang Weijun said in his speech that the Lishui area of Nanjing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone is the forefront and core carrier for the low-altitude economy layout of the demonstration zone, with huge development potential. It is necessary to gather strength and promote it in a coordinated manner through strengthening innovation sources and the integration of industry, academia and research, expanding investment layout, and improving financial support. Hu Youliang said that the growth of the low-altitude economy cannot be separated from the innovative breakthroughs of enterprises. It is hoped that entrepreneurs will take Lishui Development Zone as a “new starting point for their careers”, jointly draw the “blueprint” of the low-altitude economy more solidly and make the “cake” of industrial development larger, and build a nationally renowned highland for the low-altitude economy industry.

The Development and Reform Commission of Nanjing City and the Development and Reform Commission of Lishui District respectively introduced the latest situation and industrial development plans of the low-altitude economy in Nanjing City and Lishui District. Zeting Aviation, as a representative of the enterprise, shared its experience and confidence in investing in Lishui. Professor Lu Zhong from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics delivered a keynote speech on the development trends of low-altitude economy and the airworthiness of aircraft. Four low-altitude economy enterprises held roadshows, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and cooperation demands.

In 2019, the Nanjing Airport Economic Demonstration Zone was officially approved, forming a spatial pattern of “one main and two wings”. The eastern wing of Lishui Development Zone covers an area of approximately 24.78 square kilometers and is adjacent to Lukou Airport, enjoying a prominent geographical advantage. At present, Lishui Development Zone has planned a 16.15-square-kilometer low-altitude economic start-up area, which is divided into four functional zones: aviation equipment manufacturing, comprehensive logistics, high-tech industries adjacent to the airport, and high-end services. It has gathered over 20 enterprises along the industrial chain and is home to the only cross-border e-commerce B-type bonded logistics center in the province, as well as projects such as the headquarters of JD.com and the East China headquarters of China Railway No.11 Engineering Group. At the same time, we will jointly build industry-university-research platforms with China Southern Airlines, the provincial unmanned aerial Vehicle alliance and others. Through the “Partner Park Program”, we will deepen regional collaboration, promote the flow of factors and continuously enhance industrial competitiveness.
