This year, the headquarters base project of Dyson Technology’s smart home appliances was officially launched in Lishui Economic Development Zone. Through scientific planning and efficient revitalization, it has successfully transformed into a high-quality carrier for high-tech industries. This measure is a vivid practice of the Lishui Planning and Resources Branch in deepening the land supply-side reform and promoting the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of existing land use.
Replace the old with the new
Inefficient land use is rejuvenated
At around 4 p.m., at the construction site of the Zhumi Technology Smart Home Appliance Headquarters Base project, construction workers were working hard to advance the preparatory work, and the project construction had been fully launched.
Due to the industrial upgrading and adjustment of the park, the land of this plot was once idle after the relocation of enterprises. Through systematic demolition and reorganization, the plot was transformed into “clean land” and included in the annual key investment promotion list. In April 2025, the land plot was publicly auctioned and eventually won by Xingchen Zhigu Innovation Technology (Nanjing) Co., LTD. The Dreame Technology Smart Home Appliance Headquarters Base project, with a total investment of 4 billion yuan, officially moved in.
Efficient configuration
The average benefit per mu has significantly increased
The 193 mu of inefficient land that has been revitalized this time has a planned construction area of 232,000 square meters (including 228,900 square meters above ground and 3,771 square meters underground), and will be built into a highland for the intelligent home appliance industry integrating R&D, production and headquarters. The project focuses on the cutting-edge technologies in the field of smart home appliances. After its commissioning, it is expected to drive the upgrading of the regional industrial chain.

The relevant person in charge of the Lishui Planning and Resources Branch said, “Through the model of land reclamation and redevelopment, we are promoting the tilt of idle land towards high value-added industries to achieve ‘replacing the old with the new’.” After going into production, it is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 2 million refrigerators and 2.5 million washing machines (2 million drum machines and 500,000 dryers), fully demonstrating the optimization orientation of “every inch of land is worth its value”.

Facilitate the rapid implementation of the project
To ensure the rapid implementation of the project, the Lishui Planning and Resources Branch intervened in advance, opened a green channel, and optimized the land use approval process. From signing the contract to commencing construction, it only took three and a half months. In February 2024, Lishui District was the first in the city to explore the “five-certificate issuance” mechanism in collaboration with development zones. This approval innovation enables the simultaneous issuance of the “five certificates” within five working days after the signing of the land transfer contract for the project.
The project leader of Dreymi Technology said, “We prepared all the materials and went to the Citizen Service Center. It only took us two days to obtain the ‘five certificates’ necessary for the start of the project.” Lishui’s efficient land use guarantee and high-quality business environment have strengthened our confidence in deepening regional development.

In recent years, Lishui District has thoroughly implemented the policy of conserving and intensively using land. Through a combination of measures such as “redevelopment of low-efficiency land + industrial upgrading”, it has cumulatively revitalized over a thousand mu of low-efficiency and idle land, creating space for emerging industries such as new energy vehicles and intelligent manufacturing. The implementation of this Dreymi Technology project is not only a model of efficient land resource utilization but also a key move for Lishui to build a new growth pole in the south of Nanjing.
