On April 10, the 2025 Global 6G Technology and Industrial Ecology Conference sponsored by Zijinshan Laboratory and Future Mobile Communication Forum was opened in Nanjing. 6G is the cornerstone of future industrial development. At present, the world is focusing on 6G technology, which will not only bring the continuous upgrading of strategic digital infrastructure, but also provide new opportunities for cultivating emerging industries.
With the theme of “Building innovation together, sharing the future”, this conference aims to promote the formation of global 6G standard consensus as a starting point, and further move towards the collaborative creation of the whole industry.

Zhao Yan said that 6G technology is a key area to achieve a high level of scientific and technological self-reliance. Our province will make every effort to build a whole-chain innovation system, actively participate in key technology research, achievement transformation and standard formulation, and strive to shoulder the responsibility of Jiangsu in serving the national strategy, build a solid industrial foundation in independent and controllable, lead the trend of innovation in opening up and cooperation, and make more contributions to the overall situation of the country with the performance and effectiveness of the main bridge.
Sun Youhong said that Southeast University has deeply participated in the research and development of 6G technology for many years, witnessed and promoted the leapfrog development of China’s mobile communication, and will continue to provide discipline, personnel, resources and other support for Zijinshan Laboratory, accelerate the systematic research and application of 6G key technologies and major achievements, and bravely bear the mission of leading 6G research and development. To contribute more wisdom to promote the development of information and communication technology.

At the meeting, the relevant measures to build a “6G city” relying on the National University Information and Communication Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center (Jiangsu) were introduced, and the annual results of the Future Mobile Communication Forum were released. Zijinshan Laboratory signed a contract with China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile and China University Information and Communication Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center (Jiangsu). The conference also held a series of keynote speeches and roundtable discussions.
