At 3:00 on December 24th, the 110-kilovolt Nanjing Lishui Kangyi Substation was officially put into operation. This substation was independently constructed by Lishui District Power Supply Company throughout the process. It is the first power grid infrastructure project in Nanjing to achieve local management, marking a crucial “first step of autonomy” for Lishui in power grid construction.
In recent years, with the successive implementation of key public welfare projects such as the Southern Campus of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital and Nanjing Elderly Care Center, as well as the accelerated aggregation of strategic emerging industries like high-end manufacturing and new energy in Lishui Development Zone, the regional electricity demand has continued to rise. The original 35-kilovolt Qunli Substation is no longer capable of meeting the development needs. The construction and operation of the Kangyi Substation have become an important measure to ensure regional power supply and serve social welfare.

From planning to operation, the entire process of this project was independently implemented by Lishui District Power Supply Company. Project Manager Zeng Min introduced, “This is the first time we have independently undertaken the construction task of a substation of this scale.” We have formed a professional team to fully control each link from design, construction to acceptance, ensuring the quality of the project. During the construction process, the power supply department closely collaborated with relevant government departments, efficiently resolving practical issues such as the implementation of the plan and the coordination of lines, demonstrating the synergy of government-enterprise collaboration in serving development.
