Offering a “Nanjing option” for post-operative hemostasis
In the postoperative care of cardiac pacemaker surgery, there is a troublesome aspect: hemostasis.
How to stop it? There are two solutions. Either use imported specialized equipment, which works well but is expensive; or use sandbags as a makeshift solution, which is cheap but the experience is poor – it’s heavy and stuffy, and the patient can’t move for several hours while the nurse has to repeatedly adjust it.
Now, there is a new solution to this problem.
The “Capsule Compression Hemostasis Device” by Youdebang is specifically designed for compressive hemostasis in the capsule areas after pacemaker and ICD surgeries. It features a band-like wearing structure, and healthcare professionals can easily complete the fixation with just a few simple steps.
For doctors, the operation is very convenient. It features a knob-type pressure and release design, allowing for precise adjustment of pressure according to the patient’s condition. The product manager Kong Yangyang from the company’s R&D department explained. For patients, the compression plate of this product adopts ergonomic design, with a built-in sponge in the straps, making it soft and comfortable to wear; the built-in spring structure can also act as a buffer when the patient’s body position changes, reducing discomfort.
This product also has another identity: It is the first domestic device specifically designed for relieving pressure-induced bleeding in the pouches after pacemaker and ICD surgeries.
This means that in this specific field, the Chinese have begun to develop their own technical solutions. For hospitals, there is now an additional option on the procurement list; for patients, the cost of these consumables is expected to decrease.
From “Following” to “Leading”

Yudongbang Medical was established in Gaochun in 2013. Up to now, it has been exactly 13 years.
