“Whoo!” On January 2nd, with a long whistle, a “Nanjing Home Appliance Special Train” fully loaded with 55 containers set off from the Yaohuamen Railway Freight Yard, heading for Almaty, Kazakhstan. On the train, there are 18 containers of products from “Lishui Intelligent Manufacturing”.
As the first special train departing from Nanjing in 2026 to serve local enterprises, the household appliances made in Nanjing on this train will directly serve local people’s livelihood consumption. Among them, over 3,000 Skyworth smart washing machines rolled off the production line at the Skyworth Appliance Smart Factory in Lishui Development Zone and boarded the “first train of the New Year”.
“These washing machines are custom-made models specially designed based on the local water quality and climate.” ” Zhang Jinqi, director of the general office of Skyworth Appliance, introduced that the customized washing machine is equipped with the latest intelligent control system, which can be remotely controlled through a mobile phone APP and automatically optimize the washing program, truly adapting to local customs.
In recent years, with the in-depth advancement of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, the demand for Chinese home appliances in the Central Asian market has continued to rise. Skyworth washing machines have built up a good reputation in Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for their reliable quality and intelligent experience. In 2025, Skyworth’s exports to Central Asia were valued at approximately 40 million US dollars. We have been in the Central Asian market for more than ten years. This has significantly enhanced the international resilience and competitiveness of the local high-end manufacturing supply chain.
