Hu Guangjie, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by Gu Wanfeng, executive deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee. Hu Guangjie stressed that all localities and departments should deepen reform and innovation, stimulate new momentum for the integration of science and technology industries, strengthen the coordination and linkage of policies such as finance and taxation, science and technology, finance, talents, and market access, and improve the level of transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements; It is necessary to promote the agglomeration of innovation elements to enterprises, and accelerate the construction of a technological innovation system with enterprises as the main body, market-oriented, and deep integration of production, education and research; It is necessary to strengthen coordinated development, establish a mechanism for cultivating and strengthening leading enterprises in science and technology, build an ecology of benign interaction between enterprises of different scales and different ownerships, and fully stimulate the innovation and creativity of the private economy.
Hu Guangjie asked that the majority of private enterprises should lead the development of the industry with real scenarios, strengthen technology research and development and innovation, break through the technological inflection point of artificial intelligence from “usable” to “very easy to use”, and achieve a virtuous circle of large-scale application. All localities and departments should give full play to the advantages of the regional industrial base, actively create a number of replicable and promotable benchmark application scenarios, implement a number of special large models with industry influence and driving force, introduce a group of leading artificial intelligence enterprises with strong innovation ability, high technical level and great development potential, and gather a group of top talents, industrial science and technology leaders and innovation teams in the field of artificial intelligence, so as to create experience for the development of Jiangsu’s artificial intelligence industry.
The purpose of this matchmaking meeting is to connect the huge capabilities of the large model industry with the rich and diverse industrial scenarios of Jiangsu’s manufacturing industry through the deep integration of the large model industry and manufacturing enterprises, lead and drive the adjustment and transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure, and create new quality productivity in the era of digital economy according to local conditions. Chi Yu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and Wang Wanjun, Deputy Director of the Provincial Data Bureau, respectively introduced the digital transformation policy and data construction of Jiangsu Province. Five enterprises and chambers of commerce, Baidu, Huawei, iFLYTEK, Hengtong, and the Provincial Digital Economy Federation, shared their practical experience in the development and application of the large model industry. The video released the artificial intelligence application scenarios of ten enterprises such as Hongdou, Shagang, and Zhongtian Technology; Min Yifeng introduced the relevant situation of the Xuanwu large model factory. At the meeting, the Xuanwu large model factory signed contracts with Baidu, iFLYTEK and other settled enterprises, Baidu, iFLYTEK, China Telecom and other large model enterprises signed contracts with 6 scene enterprises, and held the unveiling ceremony of the “Large Model Industry Application Suzhou Business Alliance”.
