The 9th Future Network Development Conference concluded in Nanjing

The three-day 9th Future Network Development Conference came to a close in Nanjing on the afternoon of August 21st. At the closing ceremony, 12 leading innovative scientific and technological achievements in future networks were showcased, and a batch of cross-border cooperation projects were signed.

The closing ceremony presented certificates to the leading innovative scientific and technological achievements of Future Networks. This batch of leading innovative scientific and technological achievements includes “Research on Key Technologies of IP Network Dynamic Twin and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Application”, “Intelligent Computing Interconnection Network Architecture for Artificial Intelligence Scheduling”, “Quantum Secure Call”, “Autonomous and Controllable Intelligent Computing Communication System”, etc., covering innovative fields such as quantum security, network intelligence, network twin, and computing power network.

At the closing ceremony, scene signing of 6G technology from Zijinshan Laboratory in the field of smart healthcare, demonstration signing of the Future Network Green Computing Network project, and signing of the technology transfer and transformation project of the National University Information and Communication Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center (Jiangsu) were also held, promoting the accelerated transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements.

The awarding ceremony for outstanding works of the Future Network Technology Innovation Competition was held simultaneously. On the 19th, 15 innovative teams stood out from over 800 participants from more than 60 universities across the country and advanced to the finals to present and demonstrate their achievements. A number of projects, including “Low-Overhead In-Band Full-Network Telemetry Based on Matrix Filling” by the “Listen to the Wind” team from Hunan University, “Data Plane Deep Learning Inference Framework” by the “OK Team” from Tsinghua University, and “Lingbo RDMA Network Card” by the “Lingbo Zhixin” team from Tianjin University, stood out and won the title of outstanding works in the competition.

This conference focuses on hot topics such as artificial intelligence, large models, and digital computing networks. It features an opening ceremony, a main forum, 18 sub-forums, as well as the release of innovative achievements in the field of future networks, a future network science and technology innovation competition, and an exhibition of innovative achievements.

The three-day conference achieved a series of fruitful results in aspects such as the collision of ideas, theoretical innovation, technical exchange, project cooperation and ecological construction. Three landmark innovative achievements were released, namely the all-domain integrated data computing network scheduling platform, the network large model and multi-agent system for wide area networks, and the AI automatic design toolchain for baseband circuits. Witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement for the “pairing” of the urban computing power network between the Nanjing Municipal Data Bureau and the Lhasa Municipal Data Bureau, the signing of the second batch of member units of the “East Data West Computing – Future Computing Network Collaborative Scheduling Alliance”, and the signing of the first batch of “Spark Program” to light up cities In addition, a series of strategically significant cooperation projects were signed and released, including the launch of the cross-border circulation pilot demonstration co-creation action for data elements based on CENI.
