On February 21, the Joint Conference of the National Digital Service Export Base Industry Alliance was successfully held in China (Nanjing) Software Valley. Relevant responsible persons from the Ministry of Commerce Service Trade Department, Quota License Affairs Bureau, 12 national digital service export bases and their local commercial departments attended the event. Representatives of the provincial digital service export base and the municipal commerce bureau where our province is located attended the meeting.
Jiang Xin, a member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy Director and First-level Inspector of the Provincial Department of Commerce, said in his speech that in recent years, our province has continued to improve the digital trade policy system, promotion system and cultivation mechanism, actively carried out pioneering trials, and accelerated the scale of digital trade. The volume and structure are continuously optimized and the opening up is steadily advancing. The scale of import and export of services that can be delivered digitally ranks among the top in the country, and it is implemented in the country’s first China-Singapore digital trade cooperation pilot. Digital trade has become a new driving force and new engine to promote the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade in the province. In the next step, our province will further promote institutional innovation, consolidate the industrial foundation, strengthen open cooperation, and optimize the development environment, so as to truly transform the “key variable” of digital trade into the “maximum increment” of the high-quality development of service trade in the province.
As the convener of the alliance, Cai Senming, deputy director of the Quota License Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, delivered the 2024 annual work report of the National Digital Service Export Base Industry Alliance on behalf of the alliance. In 2024, the alliance will focus on building mechanisms, building platforms, and promoting cooperation, actively explore new ideas for innovation and development, cultivate and expand new entities of digital trade, and explore new space for international cooperation, so as to promote deep-level reform, high-level opening up, and all-round innovation in digital trade. Accumulated experience and achieved results. In 2025, the alliance will focus on the theme of “reform and innovation, win-win cooperation”, further work hard to build a cooperation platform, cultivate business entities, deepen international cooperation, and strengthen precise docking, and fully release the advantages of the digital trade industry cluster. Each base exchanged speeches on the achievements, issues and suggestions of its respective construction and development. During the results release session, China (Nanjing) Software Valley released the results of the exploration of digital trade statistics system, and Jiangsu’s “single window” service trade comprehensive platform was officially launched.
In his summary speech, Zhu Guangyao, a second-level inspector of the Service Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce, affirmed the work results of 12 national digital service export bases and base alliances over the past year, and further emphasized that digital service export bases are the main battlefield to promote the development of my country’s digital trade. Leading the agglomeration and high-quality development of the digital trade industry, and putting forward four suggestions for the future work of the alliance: First, implement the top-level design documents for digital trade, second, carry out trials around digital trade rules, and third, cultivate digital services Export business entities and ecological systems, fourth, carry out digital trade research, exchanges and cooperation and mutual learning.
After the meeting, the delegates went deep into the Software Valley, visited the Nanjing Software Industry Expo, visited Runhe Software, Nanjing Zhongke Chuangda and other companies, and gained an in-depth understanding of the demonstration and leading role played by enterprises in driving base construction.
The National Digital Service Export Base is an important carrier for my country’s development of digital trade and a cluster area for digital service exports. In 2020, the Ministry of Commerce jointly issued an announcement in conjunction with the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to identify China (Nanjing) Software Valley and other 12 Each park is the first batch of national digital service export bases. Since its selection, Nanjing Software Valley has promoted the deepening and practical base construction in terms of industrial agglomeration, mechanism innovation, international cooperation, etc., and has gathered 253 digital service companies, and a number of leading digital trade companies such as Haojing Cloud and Force Animation have emerged. Work experience was selected as the first batch of innovative practical cases in the Ministry of Commerce and other ministries and commissions as examples to promote them nationwide, becoming a cutting-edge window and innovation highland for Jiangsu’s digital trade development.
