On May 29, the 2025 annual conference of China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance opened at Nanjing International Expo Center. Luo Junjie, Executive Vice President of China Machinery Industry Federation, Zhu Yanfeng, former Chairman of Dongfeng Motor Group, and Sun Xueliang, Foreign Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered speeches respectively, and relevant leaders of the First Equipment Industry Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Nanjing Municipal Government, as well as the heads of relevant departments of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the heads of relevant departments of Nanjing attended the opening ceremony.
With the theme of “Intelligence, Low Carbon and Globalization”, the conference included 1 theme summit and 6 parallel sub-forums. The theme summit focused on “Solid-state battery technology development and challenges”, and systematically shared the development status, technological innovation achievements and development trends, challenges and enterprise cases of the upstream and downstream of the solid-state battery industry chain at home and abroad. The parallel sub-forums focused on issues such as “the application of lithium batteries in the low-altitude economy”, “AI technology empowering the high-quality development of the battery industry”, “high-quality development of energy storage batteries and safety protection”, “new development of advanced materials for power batteries”, “low-carbon intelligent dismantling and recycling”, “intelligent fast charging of electric vehicles” and other issues, and comprehensively interpreted and shared the hot and focused topics in the development of power batteries from the perspectives of intelligence, safety, low carbon and green.
During the conference, nearly 1,000 expert representatives from vehicles, batteries, supply chains, industry institutions, universities and other industries gathered together, and key power battery enterprises such as Nanjing Guoxuan and LG New Energy participated in the conference to discuss the development of the power battery industry with industrial elites from all over the country. Liuhe Development Zone and Guolian Automotive Power Battery Research Institute Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the opening ceremony to jointly promote the high-quality development of Liuhe power battery industry.
The convening of this conference clarified the development status, trends and problems of the power battery industry, and has important guiding significance for the power battery field to participate in international competition and consolidate its leading position. At the same time, it also provides a high-end industrial exchange platform for relevant sectors and enterprises in our city, promotes the introduction of high-quality resources of national power batteries, and helps our city’s new energy automobile industry to accelerate its development in the direction of clustering and high-end.
