The Sports Cities Session and Nanjing YOG 10th Anniversary Celebratory Activities, part of 2024 China (Nanjing) Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair, kicked off on September 5.

Via video, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach extended his congratulations on Nanjing YOG 10th Anniversary Celebratory Activities.

“As you celebrate the milestone, I would like to express my appreciation to the best hosts in 2014, including all Nanjing citizens and government departments. Nowadays, some young athletes from the city shine on the global sports stage, and Nanjing has played a vital role in promoting the Olympic Movement in China,” said Bach in the video.

The 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games opened in Nanjing a decade ago, when the Olympic flame lit the passion of young people all over the world and the unique glory of Nanjing.
