On April 11, at the Jinling Petrochemical High-end Daily Chemical (Jiangbei Phase I) project site located in Nanjing Jiangbei New Material Science and Technology Park, nearly 200 engineering construction personnel were busy in their respective jobs. “Since the official start of the project in March this year, the foundation pretreatment construction is being carried out, and at present, 10 cement mixing pile machines are ‘full fire’, and more than 8,000 cement piles have been laid, with a total length of nearly 60,000 meters.” Dai Jin, the person in charge of the project site, said.
With a total investment of about 10 billion yuan, Jinling Petrochemical High-end Daily Chemical Project will be constructed in three phases, and will build the first domestic daily chemical new material industrial cluster from petroleum raw materials to end products, with an annual output value of 23 billion yuan. Among them, the first phase of the project plans to invest a total of 4.011 billion yuan, covering an area of more than 600 acres.
Around the open site, at intervals, there is a cement mixing pile machine, which encloses the entire plant in a large circle. After the pile driver is started, it “excavates” into the ground, and pours cement while driving the pile, and each cement pile goes 7 meters deep into the ground, and keeps stirring. Zhang Jinbiao, the on-site person in charge of the construction unit Beijing Oriental New Star Survey and Design Co., Ltd., introduced: “On March 17, we laid the first cement mixing pile, and the workers also worked overtime to complete the foundation pretreatment construction within 4 months, and then entered the precast pile construction stage. At present, the construction is progressing smoothly and can fully meet the requirements of the project period. ”
Unlike ordinary projects, chemical equipment has higher safety requirements, so it is necessary to ensure the stability and bearing capacity of the foundation. “During the construction process, we increased the strength of the cement mixing pile by lengthening the cement mixing time, so that the cement content reached the design value.” Zhang Jinbiao introduced that the general cement mixing pile construction only takes 20 minutes, and it takes 30 minutes to mix here, in order to ensure the quality of the project, in order to ensure the construction progress, 4 mixing pile machines will be added next week.
In the northwest corner of the plant, the 140-meter-high torch tower stands tall and eye-catching. “The torch is a device for the chemical plant to deal with exhaust gas, due to the height, the torch tower should be constructed in advance, Jinling Petrochemical quickly organized the construction, completed the task ahead of schedule, and laid a good foundation for the later construction.” Dai Jin introduced that at present, the project has completed the “four links and one level”, built 1,900 meters of concrete roads and more than 2,000 meters of fences, and the site is connected with water, electricity and communication.
According to the project construction plan, the entire first phase of the project is planned to be mechanically completed in January 2027, and then transferred to the production preparation stage, and qualified products will be produced in May 2027. In order to speed up the progress of the entire project, in addition to the construction of the plant, the procurement of production equipment is also carried out simultaneously. The process flow of chemical products is very long, and many production equipment need to be connected in series, and most of these equipment needs to be customized, including long-term production equipment for more than 10 months, sub-long-cycle production equipment for 6 to 10 months, and general equipment for less than 6 months. “At present, our equipment procurement work is also in full swing, the procurement of 2 long-term production equipment has been put in place, and the procurement of other equipment is also in progress.” Dai Jin said.
It is understood that Jinling Petrochemical has the only alkylbenzene production unit of Sinopec and is the main production base of detergent raw materials in Asia. This project will give full play to the advantages of Jinling Petrochemical, extend the alkylbenzene industry chain, produce downstream products such as surfactants and liquid detergents, and realize the development of the whole alkylbenzene industry chain.
”The project not only adopts the most advanced technology in China, but also its biggest highlight is energy conservation and emission reduction.” Dai Jin introduced that energy-saving, water-saving and power-saving measures are taken in the design of various specialties, including thermal integration between devices, optimization of steam pipe network configuration, gradual utilization of steam, full consideration of condensate recovery and reuse after process wastewater treatment, etc., to reduce water consumption, strengthen the recovery and utilization of low-temperature waste heat, and optimize energy utilization. In addition, solar water heating systems and solar photovoltaic power generation systems are installed on the roofs of some buildings in the project to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction.
