Have you ever seen an aircraft with such “two faces” that it can both take off and land vertically in place and spread its wings to fly at high speed? Recently, Nanjing Julong Composite Materials Technology Co., LTD., an enterprise in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area
Nanjing Julong Composites (hereinafter referred to as “Nanjing Julong Composites”) has officially unveiled a new type of aircraft body structure, the “V1000 Tiltrotor Hybrid aircraft Body Structure”

The aircraft is about 2 meters tall, with its entire body “snow-white”, and it is equipped with a rotatable rotor system on its two wings. What’s so mysterious about this structure? What are the core advantages of this aircraft? 👇
Entering the Nanjing Julong Composites factory, one can see from afar that the body structure of the first V1000 machine is steadily parked. If traditional aircraft are compared to “professional athletes” who can play specific roles in particular fields, then the V1000 aircraft is like a “polyhedral player”.
It is reported that the V1000 tiltrotor hybrid aircraft will focus on the demands of low-altitude operations. The core highlight lies in the dual technology integration of “tiltrotor + hybrid power” mentioned in its name.

Among them, the tiltrotor installed on the fixed wing enables the aircraft to have both the vertical takeoff and landing as well as hovering in the air capabilities of ordinary helicopters and the high-speed cruising flight capabilities of turboprop aircraft. When the aircraft takes off and lands vertically, the rotor axis is perpendicular to the ground, helping the aircraft hover in the air. When the aircraft is flying in the air, the rotor axis is parallel to the ground, which serves to fix the wings.
This technology enables aircraft to break free from their reliance on runways. Imagine that in the future, the rooftops of high-rise buildings, city squares and even enterprise parks could all become its take-off and landing points. This flexibility makes it particularly suitable for scenarios such as urban low-altitude logistics and emergency rescue.
Another major technical highlight – hybrid power – ingeniously balances the contradiction between range and environmental protection. It not only resolves the anxiety of “short range and slow charging” of pure electric aircraft, but is also more low-carbon and environmentally friendly than traditional fuel-powered aircraft.

In addition, the body structure of the first V1000 aircraft has innovatively achieved three breakthroughs: “lightweight, high strength, and fatigue resistance”. A relevant person in charge of the company introduced that Nanjing Julong Composites has always been dedicated to the research and development of high-performance polymer new materials and advanced composite materials applications, and has become a national-level “little giant” enterprise specializing in niche markets in this field. The structure of the first machine body that was launched this time is precisely based on the advanced composite material technology of Nanjing Julong Composites.
01
“Lightweight”
“Lightweighting” means lower energy consumption and higher load capacity. Just like when outdoor climbers reduce the weight of their backpacks, they can carry more equipment and travel longer distances.
02
High strength
“High intensity” ensures flight safety, allowing the aircraft to remain stable and reliable under complex weather conditions.
03
Anti-fatigue
“Anti-fatigue” will significantly extend service life and reduce operation and maintenance costs. Traditional materials, like ordinary metals, will break when repeatedly bent, while the composite materials used in V1000 are like special springs, durable and long-lasting.

In June this year, the Greater Bay Area – Yangtze River Delta Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Technology Innovation and Industrial Cooperation Exchange Event was held. At this conference exploring the “Low-altitude city”, Jiangbei New Area released the “Sky Smart City Concept Plan”, focusing on the low-altitude economy and striving to create a “super link” for the manufacturing ecosystem of low-altitude aircraft.
Just a few months later, Nanjing Julong Composites officially rolled off the production line of the first aircraft structure of its independently developed V1000 tiltrotor hybrid aircraft. This is not only a breakthrough for the company’s single product, but also represents an important move by Jiangbei New Area in the low-altitude economy industry.
Looking along this industrial chain, Jiangbei New Area actually has gathered a group of high-tech enterprises specializing in the low-altitude economy field – Nanjing Aerospace Guoqi Intelligent Equipment Co., LTD., which researches and develops medium and large unmanned aerial vehicle systems. Xingluo Intelligent Technology (Nanjing) Co., LTD., which researches and develops unmanned aerial vehicle charging hangars and autonomous driving systems; Nanjing Weibo Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd. and others are engaged in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) automated mapping and inspection.
As more and more “V1000s” are gradually rolled off the production line and advanced in Nanjing, this fertile land will eventually fly higher and farther on the new track of low-altitude economy
