Recently, the “Jointly Building Scenarios and Sharing Ecosystems” large-scale model project centralized signing ceremony and AI Empowering New Scenarios event of Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone was held at Xingzhi Science and Technology Park. During the event, eight large model projects from entrepreneurial teams of Tsinghua University were officially signed and implemented. Meanwhile, Nanjing enterprises reached six important cooperation agreements with these teams in four major application scenarios.

This batch of projects is dedicated to exploring the application of large model technology in areas such as video intelligence, embodied intelligence, AI spatial intelligence, manufacturing production line design, and intelligent companionship. It will further enrich the innovation ecosystem of large models in the park and inject new impetus into the development of the park’s artificial intelligence industry.
Focusing on the four major application scenarios of “AI+ culture and Tourism”, “AI+ Manufacturing”, “AI+ Production Line Design”, and “AI+ Education”, the newly signed enterprises have reached cooperation agreements with Nanjing Telecom, Taipusen Automation, and others. The cooperation content covers key directions such as the empowerment of cultural relic display by naked-eye 3D and language interaction technologies, the empowerment of flexible manufacturing by body-fitted intelligent robots, the empowerment of customized manufacturing production line design by large models, and the cultivation of artificial intelligence chip talents.

At present, Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone is promoting the construction of Nanjing Large Model Industry Cluster at a high standard, actively promoting the deep integration of new artificial intelligence technologies represented by large models with advanced manufacturing. It has gathered over 30 large model enterprises such as Mobvoi, Yisaiqi, and Yunfu Intelligence, and is continuously strengthening element guarantees in four aspects: carriers, policies, funds, and scenarios.
We have utilized the 140,000-square-meter high-quality carrier of Xingzhi Science and Technology Park to create the physical carrying space “AI Tower” for the large model cluster area. We have also issued the “Relay Incubation Plan for the Large Model Industry Cluster Area in Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone”, providing support to enterprises in ten aspects including computing power subsidies, talent support, and platform services. A relevant official from Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone stated, “In the future, we will continue to deeply explore and develop application scenarios of artificial intelligence in areas such as enterprise services, human resource services, and manufacturing in the park, do a good job in supply and demand matching, accelerate the transformation of the large model industry cluster from blueprint to reality, and make it a new landmark of the industry.”
