East Extension Project Section: The side walls have been poured
The foundation pit of the fourth standard A of the eastern extension project passes under the elevated elevation of the south terminal of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, and is close to the buildings under construction of Metro Line 9, Bridge Hotel and other buildings. At present, the main structure of the Yifengmen Pipeline Beginning Well and the receiving Well in the East Extension Project has been completed, and the pipe pipe is over halfway through; the base plate of the under-bridge structure at the node of Daqiao South Road has been completed; the open excavation section from Daqiao South Road to Siping Road is undergoing orderly earth excavation, and the entire line is being carried out according to the plan.
Huimin Avenue Section: Layer Construction Sprint
Section A4 of the Yangtze River Tunnel of Jianning Road contains four foundation pits. The main structure of the foundation pit A of the Rehe Road section has been completed, and the two foundation pits C and D of the western section of Jianning Road are under construction. The foundation pit has been sealed, and the work of the middle and side walls of the negative four layers is underway.
After completion, this will not only be the connecting line of the Yangtze River Tunnel, but also part of the underground three-dimensional cross-structure of the Huimin Avenue Comprehensive Renovation Project. The project has created a “T”-shaped interchange in the underground four-story underground floor, and has achieved the “fast connection and fast” method to guide cross-river traffic to the Jiangnan Express Outer Ring System.
Jiangbei iron-related section: lifting breaks record
The Jianning Road Yangtze River Tunnel starts at the intersection of Xingpu Road and Jiangbei Expressway in Jiangbei New District. It travels through the Yangtze River to the south by tunnel to cross the Yangtze River to the south bank. It is laid along the current Jianning Road, and after passing through Jiangbian Road and Huimin Road, it ends at the intersection of Jianning West Road and Rehe Road. The total length is about 6.8 kilometers.
Among them, the total length of the iron-related project is 1.41 kilometers, and it adopts the form of “bridge + ground auxiliary road”. The construction content covers the construction of suspended beams across the city’s main road, the construction of prefabricated box beams on the existing Linpu Railway, the construction of cast-in-place box beams in the north station area of the parallel railway and the ground auxiliary roads under the corresponding bridge.
The construction area that has just been hoisted is above the Linpu Railway, the Centennial Railway. The angle formed by the upper cross-Linpu Railway Bridge and the existing railway is only 15 degrees. The lifting construction is difficult, the safety control is strict, and the process requirements are precise.
The construction unit finally used a 1,600-ton crawler crane for overall lifting. The steel-covered beam single wall has a maximum length of 55 meters and a maximum heavier weight of 339 tons, breaking the domestic record of overall lifting length and weight of upper cross-rail railways.
Huimin Avenue Comprehensive Renovation Project
Carry out construction of main line tunnels and comprehensive pipeline corridors
The Huimin Avenue Comprehensive Renovation Project is one of the Jiangnan connecting lines of the Jiangnan River Pass in Jianning West Road, Nanjing. It forms an underground interchange with the main line of the river crossing channel on Jianning Road. After completion, it can guide the crossing traffic to the Jiangnan Express Outer Ring System through a “fast connection and fast” method. After the project is completed, the Nanjing “明” inner ring, the express outer ring and the Jiangbei Expressway Network will be effectively connected to further alleviate the pressure of crossing the river and drive the coordinated development of Jiangnan and Jiangbei.
At this stage, the main construction of main line tunnels and comprehensive pipeline corridors is mainly carried out. 72% of the foundation pit earth excavation has been completed, 25% of the main structure of main line tunnels has been completed, and 35% of the main structure of comprehensive pipeline corridors has been completed. This year, the main structure of the main line tunnel and comprehensive pipeline corridor will be completed, and the construction of pipeline corridors and tunnel ancillary facilities will be carried out.
Nanjing section of Beiyanjiang High-speed Railway
The pier has been completed by 99.2%
The Nanjing section of the North-Alongjiang High-speed Railway is one of the major projects in Nanjing in 2025. After completion, a new channel will be built between the Shanghai Metropolitan Area, the Nanjing Metropolitan Area and the Hefei Metropolitan Area. At present, the Nanjing section of the North Yangtze River High-speed Railway is closely following the resumption of project work and making every effort to promote the progress of the project.
As of February 24, 964 piers in the Nanjing section of the North-Array High-speed Railway have been completed by 99.2%; 826 box beams have been prefabricated in the entire section, with a completion rate of 75.8%; 19 continuous beams in the entire section have been combined, with a total of 13 pairs. At the same time, as the key project of the project, the construction of the rotary continuous beam is currently being accelerated to prepare for the structural rotary.
The Beiyanjiang High-speed Railway is scheduled to be opened to traffic and operated simultaneously with Nanjing North Station in 2027. In order to complete the construction task on schedule, the Nanjing section of the Beiyanjiang High-speed Railway will be promoted and completed in 2025. It is planned to complete all continuous beams in mid-June, complete the 245-hole box beam erection task of Liuhe section by the end of July, and complete the bridge ancillary project by the end of the year.

Sojie Bus Station TOD Project

The construction of the first bus stop TOD (public transportation-oriented development model) project in Nanjing, the construction of the Suojie bus stop has entered the “countdown”. This project is a pilot project for urban renewal. The main construction of the project has been completed. The construction of the facade, red line inner pipelines and roads is underway. At the construction site, workers carefully measure the dimensions to ensure that the curtain wall installation location is accurate and splicing and fixing the curtain wall materials. At the same time, outdoor road landscape construction is also accelerating the paving of road grassroots and planting various green plants.
The 1-3rd floor above ground of the Sojie Bus Station is the bus station and vehicle operation area, and the 4-9th floor is a boutique hotel. The bus station will also introduce functions such as convenience stores, coffee shops, cultural and leisure areas to solve the living needs of citizens for the “last mile” of buses and improve the convenience of citizens to ride. The project will be completed in the first half of this year and will be put into operation before the end of the year.
Phase II of the Imperial Examination Museum and its surrounding supporting projects
Entering the construction stage
When visiting Confucius Temple, you have become a must-have option for many tourists. At present, the second phase of the Imperial Examination Museum and its surrounding supporting projects has entered the construction stage. The total area of the project is about 94,000 square meters. The old campus of Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital will be used to carry out modern design and function improvement, reshape the underground space, and connect the subway transfer point and the core scenic spot of Confucius Temple.
Some areas of the underground space here will be put into use as a supporting parking lot for the Imperial Examination Museum. After completion, the underground space will be connected to the first phase of the underground space, the northeast corner is connected to the transportation hub stations of Nanjing Metro Lines 3 and 5, and the southwest corner is connected to the first phase of the underground space, which can directly lead to the core scenic area of Confucius Temple.
According to reports, the project has carried out the largest single-unit in-situ retention construction in China, supporting the two buildings of the former Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and then excavating underground space to utilize it to supplement the parking lots and other supporting facilities and cultural display places in the scenic area. The project adopts the “counter-process” top-down construction to avoid the impact on the three core cultural relics of Mingyuan Tower, Feihong Bridge and the Gongyuan Pudun site of the Southern Song Dynasty.
Government investment projects step up construction

Xianlin Sewage System Pipe Network Inspection—The fourth batch of special rectification projects are government investment projects included in the “Nanjing 2025 Government Investment Plan”, and the construction site is also hot.
At the two construction sections of Susheng Road and Huanyuan West Road, you can see that excavators and manual cooperation are underway for sewage pipeline excavation. The project is located in Xuanwu District and Qixia District. It will rectify defective sewage pipes under 16 roads including Ziqi Road, Xianlin Avenue East, Susheng Road, etc. within the A and E areas of Xianlin Sewage Collection System. The total length of the sewage pipes involved is 10.6 kilometers and is planned to be completed by the end of November this year.
The project is constructed by Nanjing Urban Construction Group. It is understood that in 2025, Nanjing Urban Construction Group will overall plan to build 113 projects with an annual planned investment of about 7 billion yuan. The projects cover municipal public infrastructure construction, ecological environment construction, science, education, culture, health, sports and people’s livelihood improvement projects, low-efficiency land development, urban village transformation, real estate investment, advanced manufacturing projects, etc. Nanjing Urban Construction Group will steadily advance various engineering construction tasks in accordance with the plan of the investment completion rate not less than 20% in the first quarter, not less than 50% in the second quarter, not less than 80% in the third quarter, and fully completed in the fourth quarter.
