Our city added 7 national-level green factories and 2 national-level Green industrial park, 1 green supply chain management enterprise and 40 provincial green factories .
In recent years, our city’s enterprises and parks have explored the path of green development from all dimensions such as production, technology, and management, and have continuously built a green manufacturing system, so that the “green content” of economic development has increased steadily. “Green Train” approaches citizens

Green factories are the core basic unit of green manufacturing, with construction goals of intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, waste resource utilization, and low-carbon energy. Holding a “green license” to move internationally
In the production plant of Nanjing Panda Electronics Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which belongs to Nanjing Panda, the reporter found that all energy-saving lighting equipment are used here. Zhao Chunxia, deputy general manager of the manufacturing center of Nanjing Panda Electronics Manufacturing Co., Ltd., introduced that the company has been planning green factories for a long time, and has taken multiple measures to carry out various potential and efficiency-exploitation activities, turning “green” into “gold”. Management system certification, “Green factory evaluation system certification covers multiple dimensions, whether it is energy utilization efficiency, waste management, clean production, full-life cycle management of products, etc., and puts forward all-round requirements for enterprises.”
Against the backdrop of promoting green development around the world, building a green factory is like holding a “green license”, which is a “ticket” to strive for the vast global market and a “plus point” to stand out in the industry competition.

As a platform for the gathering of green factories and green infrastructure, Nanjing Jiangning Binjiang Economic Development Zone and Nanjing Pukou Economic Development Zone were successfully selected in the list of national green industrial parks in 2024.
How can large-scale parks “include new” and “spray green”? Data shows that in recent years, Pukou Economic Development Zone has planned and built 36 photovoltaic power generation and chemical energy storage projects, of which the annual power generation of photovoltaic projects is expected to be 69.6 million kilowatt-hours, equivalent to 8562.89 tons of standard coal, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 69,400 tons per year. ; The waste sewage treatment volume of the sewage treatment plant in 2024 was 15.9709 million tons, with a recycled water reuse rate of 73.7%; the industrial solid waste utilization volume of the environmental protection industrial park was 268,300 tons, with a comprehensive utilization rate of 88.49%.
