Orders are fully booked! Robots made in Nanjing are now “in use” worldwide.

The new orders for the year mainly came from overseas markets such as France, Singapore and Russia. The robots manufactured by Jingzhai Intelligent were sold to 38 countries and regions around the world.

As the new year begins, in a high-end office building in Paris, a new “employee” has just started work and quickly taken over the cleaning tasks in the building’s public areas. It moves flexibly and smoothly, even autonomously uses elevators, leaving every spot it passes spotlessly clean. This “special employee” hails from Nanjing and is an indoor cleaning unmanned vehicle developed by Jiangsu Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing”).

Recently, Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing has seen a surge in new orders primarily from overseas markets such as France, Singapore, and Russia, showcasing significant internationalization. Data shows that in 2025, the company’s overseas sales achieved explosive growth, increasing by 4–5 times compared to 2024. Its products have been sold to 38 countries and regions worldwide. These “robot colleagues” rolling off the production line in Nanjing are set to “start work” on the front lines of industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, and services across the globe.

01 Expanding Production at Full Throttle to Ensure Order Delivery

In the workshop of Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing located in the Science City of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area, rows of collaborative robots and indoor unmanned vehicles stand ready for deployment. From the production of key components to the testing and calibration of finished robots, every step of the process is orderly and efficient.

As the only high-tech company in China simultaneously developing collaborative robots and indoor unmanned vehicles, Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing has been dedicated to robotics research and development since its establishment in Jiangbei New Area in 2016. To date, the company has developed 7 types of collaborative robots, 9 types of indoor unmanned vehicles, and multiple hybrid robots. The cleaning unmanned vehicle, which entered mass production at the end of last year, integrates washing, suction, sweeping, and dust-pushing functions. Thanks to its modular design, it can quickly switch between tasks, enabling fully automated, unmanned operations. “The cleaning unmanned vehicle is a key product in our commercial service robotics lineup. Currently, we have orders for 800 units, with plans to deliver 400 in the first quarter, including multiple overseas shipments. Additionally, nearly 3,000 units of the world’s first ‘intelligent delivery-integrated coffee robot’ are in production,” said Gao Wenmei, deputy general manager of Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing, with a smile. She described the overwhelming orders as a “sweet burden,” emphasizing that ensuring timely delivery is the team’s top priority.

To expedite production, Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing has temporarily leased a factory in Chuzhou for assembling cleaning vehicles. The company has also reorganized its office space, adding debugging, assembly, and testing areas.

In the testing area, the cleaning unmanned vehicle undergoes evaluations for autonomous obstacle avoidance, elevator operation, cross-zone cleaning, and automatic charging. “This product excels in mapping capabilities, edge-cleaning precision, and real-time navigation responsiveness compared to traditional indoor cleaning robots. Equipped with intelligent algorithms, it can independently assess environmental conditions, such as the presence of dust or water stains, and quickly switch between functions like suction and sweeping using modular design. This ensures optimal operation while minimizing energy waste,” explained Lü Zigui, R&D director of Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing. He added that the product incorporates the company’s key research in embodied intelligence technology, ensuring high reliability and safety in complex, dynamic environments, which has earned recognition from numerous overseas property management companies.

02 Coffee, Tea, and Beverages: Commercialization of Drink-Serving Robots Accelerates

Have you ever imagined a robot handing you a cup of coffee when you feel exhausted at work? At Nanjing Jinchuang Future City, employees can place orders via a mobile app. In less than two minutes, the “intelligent delivery-integrated coffee robot” prepares a steaming cup of coffee, which is then delivered to the office by a robot positioned beneath the coffee machine.

Such scenarios are now unfolding in multiple countries around the world. In this setup, the integration of two robot bodies transforms the device from a fixed piece of equipment into a mobile unmanned retail unit. This allows for flexible deployment in complex indoor environments such as large office complexes, technology parks, and hotels.

“The overseas market has become the core driver of our growth, particularly intelligent beverage equipment like the coffee robot, which aligns well with European consumption habits. Beyond office buildings, we plan to deploy these robots in subway stations and airports abroad,” explained Gao Wenmei. Last year, a “sister version” of the coffee robot—an embodied intelligent wellness tea dispenser—was piloted in Southeast Asia. By incorporating AR tongue diagnosis technology, it gained enthusiastic feedback from younger demographics and has now entered the distribution phase.

To adapt to diverse cultural contexts in overseas markets, the team has hired two full-time foreign employees. Their roles extend beyond translation; they also adapt marketing content and incorporate local trends to make product promotions more relatable. Currently, the product supports 13 languages, with updates continually in progress. Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing is actively expanding its global channel network through a diversified model combining agents, direct sales, exhibitions, and ecosystem partnerships. The company has also established overseas service centers in three countries, including Spain, to better cater to international markets.

03 Embodied Intelligence: A New Strategic Focus with Plans to Triple Production Capacity

While focused on fulfilling current orders, the company is also strategizing for long-term growth. After nearly a decade of dedicated innovation, Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing has grown into a nationally recognized “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche technologies.

“From hardware and mechanics to software and algorithms, our R&D team has accumulated extensive expertise and maintains sharp market sensitivity, allowing us to adjust products based on market demand,” Gao Wenmei noted. Currently, the company’s R&D in embodied intelligence spans four key scenarios: intelligent harvesting, intelligent welding, intelligent retail, and intelligent wellness.

Unlike traditional industrial robots limited to pre-programmed repetitive actions, embodied intelligence focuses on the iterative development of “multi-modal perception + cognitive decision-making,” advancing intelligence from “talking” to “doing.”

This forward-looking strategy has garnered national recognition. In September last year, the company’s “Research and Application of Intelligent Companion Robots” project was selected as a national pilot initiative for elderly care robotics. This year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs officially approved Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing to lead the establishment of the “Key Laboratory of Intelligent Harvesting Robotics,” in collaboration with the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

As the company accelerates its growth and order volumes surge, meeting the urgent need for expanded production capacity has become a priority. Jitri Intelligent Manufacturing’s new industrial base project is now in full swing. Upon completion, the base will have an annual production capacity of nearly 10,000 robots, fundamentally alleviating production bottlenecks and serving as the core platform for the company’s embodied intelligence robotics initiatives. “From initial coordination to construction, the New Area has provided comprehensive support. The park even set up a dedicated project service group with staff from various departments to ensure prompt responses to any issues,” the project manager remarked.

The new base will feature “modular + flexible” automated production lines to efficiently accommodate diverse, small-batch orders. Additionally, the introduction of an AI scheduling system will shorten delivery cycles to 30 days, boosting production efficiency by 50% and tripling overall capacity.

In the workshop, another batch of shipment boxes adorned with international waybills is being sealed. Soon, more robots will embark on their journey from Nanjing to destinations across the globe.
