At the beginning of the New Year, the momentum is surging. On January 2nd, Byronic (Jiangsu) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. officially opened for business and started production in Yongyang Sub-district, Lishui District
Entering the brand-new modern factory building, the automated production lines are running smoothly and the intelligent equipment is operating in an orderly manner. The factory covers an area of 25,000 square meters and focuses on high-end equipment manufacturing. Its main products include laser cutting machines, laser pipe cutting machines, CNC bending machines, heavy-duty bending machines and intelligent production lines, etc. It is expected that after reaching full production capacity, 500 sets of intelligent laser cutting equipment can be produced annually.
The parent company of Bystronic (Jiangsu) Intelligent Technology Co., LTD. – Anhui Bystronic Laser Technology Co., Ltd. is a pioneer in the domestic fiber laser field. To expand its industrial layout and enhance its intelligent manufacturing capabilities, the enterprise signed a contract to settle in Lishui in May 2023. It started construction in just six months and successfully upgraded to a designated scale in the same year, becoming the only investment attraction project in Lishui that achieved “signing, starting construction and upgrading to a designated scale in the same year”. In July 2025, the enterprise entered the trial production stage.
From signing the contract and landing to completion and commissioning, we truly experienced the “Lishui Speed” and the efficient service throughout the process. Zhang Wei, the general manager of the company, stated that this year, they will actively carry out industry-university-research cooperation with local vocational colleges, strengthen the co-cultivation of talents, and build a live streaming platform to expand the international market. They will spare no effort to strive for an annual output value of 200 million yuan and aim to become a key component of Lishui’s intelligent manufacturing equipment sector. The relevant person in charge of Yongyang Sub-district stated that the official production of Bystronic Intelligent will further strengthen the high-end equipment industrial chain in Yongyang, promote the industry to move towards intelligence, high-end and green development, and inject new vitality into the construction of a more resilient and competitive modern industrial system.
Lishui District is an important carrier area for the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry in Nanjing City. By 2025, the industrial cluster of CNC machine tool functional components centered on Yongyang Sub-district will successfully enter the “national-level” list, and the pace of industrial agglomeration and capacity improvement will accelerate. Yongyang Sub-district has carried out targeted promotion through embedded investment attraction, taking into account key milestones such as project commencement and commissioning. Throughout the year, it has attracted 14 projects with a total investment exceeding 4.3 billion yuan, among which over 80% are upstream and downstream enterprises of CNC machine tools.
