Entering the Zhongce Cable workshop, seven automated production lines are running at full speed, including wire drawing, stranding, insulation extrusion… One process after another is seamlessly connected under the precise collaboration of the machines. As a high-growth enterprise that is a key focus of the Agricultural High-tech Zone, its daily output of 100,000 meters of cables is continuously being transported to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui, and even exported to Heilongjiang, Henan and overseas markets. “Technological reform is a common focus for the Agricultural High-tech Zone and us.” ” Han Jinqiang, the director of the production department of the enterprise, pointed at the newly launched wire drawing machine and introduced it. With the support of the element guarantee of the Agricultural High-tech Zone, last year the enterprise introduced new equipment and phased out the old machines that required separate annealing, achieving direct wire drawing production. “Previously, the daily output of one machine was about 3 tons, but now it has stabilized at 5 to 6 tons, with efficiency almost doubling!” “
The insulation extrusion process also bears witness to “technological transformation empowerment”. The insulating material melted at high temperature is evenly wrapped around the outside of the wire core, and after cooling and shaping, it provides the cable with an excellent “protective coat”. The pursuit of quality is more reflected in the ultimate control of parameters. “Take a 2.5 square millimeter cable as an example. In the first quarter of this year, the second-phase project with a total investment of 200 million yuan was launched. It is planned to add 20 production lines and is expected to increase the annual production of wires and cables by 8,000 tons.
A single cable connects thousands of households and also drives the common growth of an enterprise and a park. In the first half of this year, the output value of Zhongce Cable has reached approximately 150 million yuan. According to the staff of the Project Promotion Office of the Agricultural High-tech Zone, the second phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of December, accelerating towards the goal of an annual output value of 250 million to 300 million yuan. The Agricultural High-tech Zone will also continue to provide precise services and element support, accompanying enterprises within the zone to steadily and solidly embark on the path of high-quality development, and injecting strong impetus into the regional economy.
