On November 3rd, Kewei Group and Hyundai Motor jointly held a tasting ceremony for their first hydrogen fuel cell bus in Guangzhou. The first hydrogen fuel cell bus jointly developed by the two sides – NJL6856FCEVF – was officially unveiled. This is a crucial step taken by “Lishui Intelligent Manufacturing” in the new energy sector in the hydrogen energy transportation race, adding “hydrogen” power to zero-carbon travel.

This hydrogen-powered bus combines both good looks and strong performance. The entire vehicle is mainly white, complemented by light blue decorative lines. It exudes a sense of technology in its simplicity and has a fashionable and grand design. The eye-catching “H₂” logo on the vehicle body immediately recognizes its hydrogen energy identity. When it hits the road, it becomes a mobile sight and a powerful representative of green travel.

It is equipped with a 176 KWH large-capacity battery from CATL and combined with a 90KW hydrogen fuel cell system from Hyundai Motor, achieving zero emissions and being resistant to low temperatures. It has an outstanding performance with a pure hydrogen range of 390 kilometers and a combined range of 576 kilometers, and the refueling time only takes 3 to 5 minutes. The interior adopts an industry-first short rear overhang design, with a flat floor area of up to 6.1 meters, providing a strong sense of space. The seats are available in two layouts: 15+1 and 22+1, providing a large capacity for passengers and a comfortable ride, truly balancing practicality and experience.

As a leading enterprise in domestic new energy commercial vehicles, Kewei Group has always been driven by both technology and green development. This collaboration with Hyundai Motor is not only a powerful alliance in technology but also a practical demonstration of industrial chain synergy. The new car integrates Kewei’s local manufacturing experience with modern global hydrogen energy technology, achieving a comprehensive breakthrough in both performance and efficiency. The development of the hydrogen energy industry is a relay race of win-win cooperation. Lee Hyuk-jun, President of Hyundai Motor Group China, highly praised the vehicle manufacturing capabilities of Kewei Group and expressed his hope that the two sides would continue to work together to use low-carbon hydrogen energy solutions to help reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption in the transportation sector and contribute to the green transformation of society.

“At present, hydrogen energy transportation is facing dual opportunities of policy and market. With the popularization of clean energy hydrogen production technology, the development prospects of the industry are broad.” ” Huang Hongsheng, the founder of Skyworth Group and Kewei Group, said that this cooperation precisely aligns with the key layout of the hydrogen energy industry in the “15th Five-Year Plan”, and is a vivid practice of “government-enterprise collaboration” promoting green transportation. In the future, the cooperation between the two sides will also be expanded to more scenarios such as heavy trucks and cold chain logistics.
