Nanjing Changan Smart Factory officially settled in Lishui Economic Development Zone in May 2022. As a key enterprise with a market value of over 10 billion yuan that Lishui is focusing on cultivating, it is the main growth point of Lishui’s new energy vehicle industry. In 2024, Nanjing Changan’s total output value reached 14.09 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of 38.9% and setting a new record high. This strong market performance not only enhances its own competitiveness but also brings unprecedented development opportunities to the supporting enterprise partners in the zone.
In the production workshop of Chengdu Aerospace Molding Nanjing Co., Ltd. in Lishui Economic Development Zone, exquisite automotive interior parts are neatly arranged. They are about to be sent to the assembly line of Nanjing Changan and become important components for models such as the Deep Blue S07. This company specializes in the development, design, production and manufacturing of automotive interior and exterior trim parts. Its products feature advantages such as good appearance, wear resistance, scratch resistance and fire resistance. “Deep Blue S07 is equipped with 47 types of plastic interior parts from us.” ” Zhang Xiang, deputy director of the company’s Comprehensive Management department, introduced that backed by the strong support of Nanjing Changan, the enterprise has been integrated into the production chain, and its output value has significantly increased. To shorten its supply radius, Magna has decided to settle in Lishui and provide seat support services for Nanjing Changan. In 2024, the order volume from cooperation with Nanjing Changan will account for 40% of the company’s total output. Driven by Nanjing Changan, a number of local supporting enterprises such as Tenghai, Qianglong and Changming have achieved rapid development, with their output value increasing by 540 million yuan in 2024. They are playing an increasingly important role in Lishui’s new energy vehicle industry chain by leveraging their professional advantages and innovation capabilities.

Build a platform skillfully to form a “group alliance”
Nanjing Sunwoda New Energy Co., LTD., located in Lishui District, is the first subsidiary and production base of Sunwoda Power Technology Co., Ltd. in East China. As a leading enterprise in the battery industry, the arrival of Sunwoda has attracted high-end copper foil material producer Longdian Huaxin and other enterprises to settle down. After Longdian Huaxin started production, it successfully won orders from two “big players” in the new energy battery industry, namely, SVOLT Energy Technology and Sunwoda… The close cooperation among these upstream and downstream enterprises, which advance both offensively and defensively, has formed a new energy vehicle industrial cluster with unique Lishui characteristics.
To accelerate the development of new energy vehicles, Lishui District has also established the New Energy Vehicle Industry Alliance and the Lishui Economic Development Zone New Energy Vehicle Industry Chain Party Building Alliance, creating a stage of mutual benefit and synergy. This alliance relationship is quietly changing the cooperative ecosystem among enterprises. Nanjing Baudlang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has been deeply engaged in the field of automotive electronic pedals. Previously, it did not include the leading enterprise Kewei Automobile, which is close at hand, in its “circle of friends”. The exchange activities of the Party Building Alliance have broken down information silos – “Through the activities organized by the Party Building Alliance, both sides have come to understand each other’s products and demands. What we can produce and what they need are now clear at a glance.” Yao Zhongyuan, the relevant person in charge, said that currently, the products of Bosch Langbo have entered the trial use stage in Kewei Automobile, and the “red bond” has connected the coordinated development of upstream and downstream enterprises. At present, the Lishui New Energy Industry Alliance has gathered over 100 enterprises from the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, strengthening collaborative progress and joint innovation, and actively seeking in-depth cooperation with international industries and technologies. At the 2024 Lishui District’s promotion Conference for building a 100-billion-yuan new Energy vehicle industry, Kewei Group, Nanjing Changan, Hengtian Lingrui, Jinling Customs and other units jointly established the Lishui New Energy Vehicle Industry Chain “Going Global” Cooperation Alliance. It was the first in the city to introduce an enterprise “going global” action plan, which has helped the export of new energy vehicles exceed 40,000 units since 2024, a year-on-year increase of 400%.
Intelligent manufacturing empowerment

There’s someone ahead!” …” At the test site of Nanjing Yika Zhiche’s intelligent factory on Xumutang Road in Lishui Economic Development Zone, an unmanned delivery vehicle is using a clear electronic sound to alert the sudden appearance of “passers-by”. In this newly put into use “New Recruit Training Camp”, technology and the future are engaged in a wonderful dialogue. Every precise command and every smooth obstacle avoidance demonstrate the hard-core strength of intelligent manufacturing in empowering industrial development. In 2024, Yika Zhiche will invest 3 billion yuan in Lishui to build a globally leading L4-level unmanned vehicle flexible automated production and immersive experience digital intelligent factory. At present, the R&D building, assembly workshop and other facilities of the first phase of the project have risen from the ground and are expected to be completed and put into operation in September. Du Wanyun, the project director of Nanjing Yika Zhiche’s intelligent factory, introduced, “In the future, 70% of the delivered vehicles will be unmanned logistics delivery vehicles, equipped with L4-level intelligent driving systems, and will be applied in batches to the smart logistics networks of leading logistics enterprises such as China Post, SF Express, Cainiao, and JD.com, truly achieving 24/7 operations.” Centering on the construction of application scenarios such as unmanned logistics and unmanned pick-up, Lishui is actively laying out the “unmanned track” of new energy vehicles and promoting the development of the intelligent connected vehicle industry. Currently, 20 unmanned logistics equipment have applied for the intelligent connected road test license of Nanjing City, covering 12 routes. Scenarios such as urban logistics, unmanned mines, and unmanned cleaning are gradually being rolled out. Promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry towards “intelligence”.
Today, in Lishui, a 16-kilometer-long new energy vehicle avenue connects 157 new energy vehicle industry chain enterprises such as Nanjing Changan and Kewei Automobile. A new energy vehicle industry map that is united and full of vitality is emerging. In Lishui Economic Development Zone, enterprises along the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain grow together. Just across the road, they are all “neighbors”, communicating and helping each other, and moving forward hand in hand.
