Recently, CCTV-4’s China News column and CCTV-13’s Morning News column broadcast reports on the 2024 China (Nanjing) Cross-border E-commerce Opening-up and Cooperation Conference and Nanjing’s achievements in boosting service consumption. They showcased the new driving forces of cross-border e-commerce development as well as new scenarios, models and dynamics of the consumer market in Nanjing.
On August 1, the 2024 China (Nanjing) Cross-border E-commerce Opening-up and Cooperation Conference was broadcast on CCTV-4’s China News column. At the conference, the city unveiled the “One Click for Easy Cross-Border E-commerce” integrated service platform, which was the first full-scenario business service software for cross-border e-commerce in Jiangsu Province. The conference witnessed the launch of the Sailing Campaign for Nanjing Metropolitan Area + Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Belt and the Silk Road E-Commerce Leading Talent Program of Jiangsu Colleges and Universities. The event also saw the signing of agreements for several major projects for purposes of jointly drawing a blueprint for cross-border e-commerce and injecting strong momentum into the development of cross-border e-commerce in China.,
On August 8, the 2024 Nanjing International Consumption Festival (Summer) and related activities (e.g., trade-in) were broadcast on CCTV13’s Morning News column. The event featured five themes, namely trade-ins, fashion shopping, summer nightlife, cultural and sports integration, and online promotion, in the form of “2+5+12+N”. A total of nearly 500 consumption-promoting activities of various kinds were held to inject new vitality into the consumer market by constantly fostering new scenarios and new models. Among them, the trade-in activities were held in neighborhoods, government agencies, enterprises, and institutions. Since the end of April, more than 45,000 consumers have received auto subsidies, which contributed to more than 9.5 billion yuan in auto sales.
