Founded in 2002, Nanjing Youbei Electric Technology Co., Ltd. is a national standard editor-in-chief unit of R&D and manufacturing of intelligent safety instrument products, a leading enterprise in domestic technology and market, which is widely used in petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power and other industries, and has made outstanding contributions to a number of major national strategic projects. In 2021, the company invested in the construction of a smart factory in Jiangning Development Zone, which has been awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as an excellent demonstration scenario for intelligent manufacturing and a national digital transformation training base.
2. The main experience and practice of “intelligent transformation and digital transformation to network connection”.
First of all, according to the specific strategic development and operational goals, the enterprise has planned the overall plan of digital transformation with cost, quality and efficiency as the core.
✦ In the process of construction of the new factory, a large number of intelligent equipment such as robot debugging and assembly, intelligent vertical warehouse and other intelligent equipment have been applied, which saves manpower and improves production efficiency;
✦ In terms of digitalization, in the R&D end, the introduction of Altium, Solidworks and other digital design software, and with the enterprise ERP, MES and other software to form information integration, through the industrial Internet and private cloud, hybrid cloud deployment, to achieve the integration of R&D and manufacturing network system;
✦ In terms of resource optimization, a mathematical model has been established for all production resources, and the discrete events of each production factor and production process in the production process are modeled, and the optimal solution of production efficiency is provided through virtual simulation and digital twin technology, so as to realize the optimization and prediction before production.
At the same time, relying on 5G, industrial PON, TSN and other network communication technologies, we have established a low-delay and high-reliability Internet of Things (IOT) system, fully connected all production equipment in the workshop, and integrated the motion signals and equipment operating parameters of each equipment with the digital twin system, realized the data mapping between physical and virtual, and achieved the dynamic optimization capability.
3. Major Achievements
Through the construction of the smart factory, the production staff has been greatly reduced from 87 people in the past to 40 people at present, and the labor cost has been saved about 4.7 million yuan/year; Raw materials, finished products, semi-finished products inventory capital decreased by 20%, about 5.5 million yuan; Increase R&D efficiency by 30% and reduce R&D expenditure by about $2.5 million this year; Reduce the waste of raw materials and energy consumption by about 2 million yuan/year.
