As the municipal-level industrial sector event of this year’s National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, on June 15th, the 2026 Annual “Energy Conservation Services for Enterprises” and Industrial Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Diagnosis Launch Meeting was held at Nangang Steel. The meeting was hosted by the Municipal Department of Industry and Information Technology, and organized by Nangang Group and the Municipal Energy Conservation Technology Service Center. Representatives from 24 enterprises with energy conservation and carbon reduction diagnosis demands in the city, relevant business divisions of Nangang Group, and energy conservation technology product supply enterprises attended the event, with a total of over 90 people.
At the launch meeting, the Municipal Energy Conservation Technology Service Center provided a comprehensive introduction to the overall arrangement and implementation path of the city’s energy conservation and carbon reduction diagnosis work for the year 2026. The Product Department of the Provincial Metrology Institute gave a special interpretation of the energy measurement policies. The Municipal Energy Conservation Technology Service Center also conducted practical training on the policy regulations and legal frameworks for energy conservation review of fixed asset investment projects, as well as on carbon emissions and compliance policies, to help enterprises make good use of policy tools and clearly delineate the boundaries of compliance. Two energy conservation technology product supply enterprises on-site promoted their mature and applicable energy conservation technology equipment and solutions. The holding of this launch meeting marks the official and comprehensive commencement of the city’s 2026 industrial energy conservation and carbon reduction diagnosis work.
Next, the Municipal Department of Industry and Information Technology will take the Energy Conservation Publicity Week as an opportunity to continue promoting energy conservation services for enterprises and parks. It will organize technical teams to conduct “one-on-one” on-site diagnosis for enterprises, helping them identify energy-saving weaknesses, calculate the cost of energy conservation and carbon reduction, and determine the renovation direction. This will effectively convert the policy benefits of energy conservation and carbon reduction into actual achievements of reducing costs and increasing efficiency for enterprises.
