By using GIS systems, artificial intelligence, big data, etc., we can achieve on-demand operation and maintenance, proactive research and judgment, and cost reduction and efficiency improvement throughout the life cycle of urban lighting. Today, the operation and maintenance costs of lighting facilities have dropped by 33%, continuing to lead the industry.
The single-lamp control system has brought about revolutionary changes in the facility maintenance model. “Didi light repair” has replaced manual inspections, greatly improving work efficiency. The city-level IoT perception system is committed to building a broad and dense smart pole ecosystem, effectively consolidating the digital foundation and contributing Nanjing’s lighting strength to the construction of smart cities.
In recent years, the Lighting Group has promoted the construction of multiple scenarios across the board to further empower the construction of new smart cities and build digital application results that are enjoyed by all people. At present, the total number of facilities of the Lighting Group has reached 1.6 million, with a market share of 84% and a coverage area of about 1,350 square kilometers. The three are ranked first among single market players in the industry nationwide. Among them, the “Urban Management Vientiane Integrated Governance System Based on Street Light Robots” won the Excellence Award in the First Urban Digital Light Application Competition in Nanjing, China; the “Smart Pole Perception Operation Platform” was selected as a demonstration project for the digital transformation of municipal state-owned enterprises.
