As early as 2012, the municipal government approved the establishment of Nanjing Surface Treatment Center in Liuhe District, which is also the only approved surface treatment professional park in the city. At present, the overall operation level of the park has been significantly improved by upgrading and renovating supporting facilities such as sewage, solid waste, electricity, and heating, and introducing a professional management service team.
Seize the development opportunity, accelerate the agglomeration and development of the surface treatment industry cluster, and promote the Nanjing Modern Surface Treatment Technology Industry Center project to be launched. The project is invested and constructed by Guangdong Yifeng Huachuang Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in the industry, with a total planned area of 247 acres, planning to build about 330,000 square meters of plant and supporting facilities, and equipped with a surface sewage treatment plant and ancillary facilities with a daily treatment capacity of 10,000 tons, which will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project investment of about 2.54 billion yuan, will build about 200,000 square meters of plant and related supporting facilities, after the completion of production, it is expected to achieve the annual income of the main business of not less than 1.5 billion yuan, the annual tax of not less than 50 million yuan. “The start of construction of the project will not only help promote the transformation and upgrading of the surface treatment industry and move towards a new stage of green and sustainable development, but also provide a solid industrial foundation for the development of key industries such as new energy vehicles, high-end equipment, electronic information, and aerospace in Nanjing, and enhance Nanjing’s attractiveness to the surrounding high-end manufacturing industry.
