Lishui Tianshan Cement Co., Ltd. takes the goal of “harmless raw materials, clean production, waste resource utilization, and low-carbon energy” and actively implements the green factory construction standards. Through technological transformation and process optimization, the company has significantly reduced energy and water consumption, and achieved cleanliness of production links and resource recycling.
Tianshan Cement’s green practice is not only reflected in the optimization of the production link, but also in its pioneering circular economy model. In 2021, Nanjing’s first cement kiln collaborative disposal of domestic waste will be put into use in the Tianshan Cement Plant in Jingqiao Town, with a daily processing capacity of 500 tons, covering other garbage disposal needs in Lishui.
According to the project leader, 70% to 80% of domestic waste are combustible materials. After high temperature combustion, every 8 tons of combustible waste can replace 1 ton of physical coal, greatly reducing fossil energy dependence. At the same time, the garbage is fully burned in a 1700℃ kiln, and after decomposing harmful components, it is wrapped in cement clinker crystals. The treatment process will not cause secondary pollution. The finished cement products are harmless to people and the environment, ensuring the disposal principle of “harmless, reduced, and resource-based”.
The transformation of Tianshan Cement is a microcosm of Jingqiao Town’s “destroying the old and establishing the new” strategy. Since closure of 39 chemical companies in 2012, Jingqiao Town has introduced green industries such as health manufacturing, smart medical care, and new energy through “emptying cages and changing birds”, achieving a leap from “gray economy” to “green economy”.
By optimizing the business environment, Jingqiao Town has promoted the rapid implementation of the project. It took only three months from the start of construction to the start of production of Nanjing Jingyun Sports Amusement Equipment Manufacturing Project. Yulin Machinery, Changda Pharmaceutical and other companies achieved “starting construction in the same year and putting production in the same year”, showing the strong momentum for the development of the green industry.
On the basis of industrial greening, Jingqiao Town simultaneously develops organic agriculture and ecological cultural tourism. Taicun Puren Organic Vegetable Base has become the first vegetable base in Nanjing for Hong Kong, supplying more than 6,000 kilograms of Hong Kong vegetables annually; the number of tourists received in rural tourism areas such as Shishanxia Village continues to grow annually, forming a full-chain development pattern of “health industry + ecological agriculture + cultural and tourism integration”.
A relevant person in charge of Jingqiao Town said that he will continue to introduce projects in the fields of health manufacturing, new energy, etc. around the goal of “ecological economy leading and green transformation demonstration”, strive to introduce 10 enterprises with a total of 100 million yuan, explore the layout of emerging industrial chains such as pharmaceutical flow, and provide strong support for Lishui District to create new quality productivity.
