On the afternoon of May 27, the “Linking the Bay Area, Empowering Nanjing” Nanjing New Display Industry (Shenzhen) Cooperation and Development Conference was held in Qianhai, Shenzhen. Lan Jun, Director of the Management Committee of Nanjing Economic Development Zone, and Han Yaosheng, Vice President of China Fortune (Shenzhen) Industrial Development Co., Ltd., attended the meeting. Sichuan Changhong Electronic System Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Unilumin Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Yingtang Intelligent Control Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Qingyi Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., Dongguan Huafu Industrial Co., Ltd. and other 14 leading enterprises in the field of new display participated in the meeting, covering Mini/Micro LED, OLED, LCD, display modules and display terminals and other new display core supporting fields.
In recent years, with the accelerated iteration of display technology and the continuous emergence of new display innovative products, the new display industry has ushered in a new period of development opportunities. Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone will firmly develop the new display industry, expand the industrial scale, rely on major projects such as LCD panels and complete machines, promote the agglomeration of materials, devices, equipment and other projects, and strive to accelerate the total output value of the new display industry in the park. Optimize the industrial structure, promote the transformation of the existing liquid crystal display industry chain to high value-added directions such as on-board displays, and actively plan the layout of OLED, Mini LED, Micro LED, e-paper and other display fields. Strengthen innovation capabilities, support enterprises to rely on Nanjing’s talent advantages, carry out new technology research and development, new product development, and cultivate a number of innovative enterprises. Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone will give full play to the advantages of industrial environment, human resources and hub functions, empower industries and service enterprises, and support the landing and development of more high-quality new projects. We sincerely invite high-quality enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to join hands with Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone to share the integrated development dividend of the Yangtze River Delta and create a new future for the display industry.
At the meeting, the person in charge of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone comprehensively introduced the location advantages, industrial base, business environment and service policies of the park, focusing on the development and cooperation environment of the new display industry. At present, there are more than 150 new display enterprises in the park, with an output value of about 110 billion yuan, accounting for more than 90% of the city’s industrial scale. The upstream and downstream of the industry gathers leading enterprises such as LG, BOE, and Shanjin Optoelectronics, forming a complete industrial chain and becoming an important new display industry base in China. In the past two years, Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone has strengthened cooperation with Shenzhen, and introduced a number of high-quality projects such as Shenzhen Guoxian vehicle display, Interli SMT intelligent manufacturing and complete machines. The park will further serve the development and growth of enterprises in terms of supporting project investment, increasing R&D and innovation, and strengthening scene applications.
