On September 11th, Jingqiao Town of Lishui District held a signing ceremony for key industrial projects, jointly building the “High Borosilicate Glass Substrate Production Base and R&D Headquarters Base Project” with Shandong Longguang Tianxu Solar Energy Co., LTD. (referred to as “Longguang Tianxu”), a national “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche markets.
As a leading enterprise in the high borosilicate glass niche market, Longguang Tianxu is a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche markets, a national high-tech enterprise, and a Shandong Province “Gazelle” enterprise. Its domestic market share of high borosilicate glass tubes and all-glass vacuum solar heat collection tubes has ranked first for three consecutive years. The high borosilicate glass substrate production base and R&D headquarters base project, which has recently settled in Guanshan Industrial Concentration Zone, Jingqiao Town, has a total investment of 530 million yuan and covers an area of approximately 110 mu. It will revitalize the factory buildings of the former Nanjing Dongjiang Foundry Machinery Co., LTD., achieve “replacing the old with the new”, and contribute to the green transformation of Jingqiao Town’s industrial economy.
This project focuses on the research and development and production of core products such as high borosilicate heat-resistant and fire-resistant glass and high borosilicate ultra-thin substrate glass, aiming to break through technical barriers in key areas and achieve domestic substitution. The project is scheduled to commence construction before December 2025. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate an annual output value of over 1 billion yuan and create 400 jobs. In addition, the project will attract no less than four downstream supporting enterprises to gather and jointly build a complete industrial chain ecosystem.

To ensure the efficient implementation of the project, Jingqiao Town and Lishui High-Tech Investment will jointly establish a special service team to provide full-cycle “nanny-style” services and guarantees for the project from registration, construction to production. They will spare no effort to promote the early start, early production and early effectiveness of the project, accelerate the construction of the new materials industrial cluster in Jingqiao Town, and enhance the level of advanced manufacturing.
