To promote the innovation of agricultural water-saving irrigation technology and empower the development of modern agriculture, on August 18th, Jiangsu Langrun Huifeng Water-saving Irrigation Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a technical cooperation agreement with the Institute of Farmland Irrigation, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
Wang Jinglei, director of the Institute of Farmland Irrigation, delivered a warm and enthusiastic welcoming speech. He highly praised the achievements made by Langrun Huifeng in the research and development and industrialization of water-saving irrigation equipment, emphasizing the significant strategic importance of this cooperation in integrating the advantageous resources of both sides, accelerating the transformation of scientific research achievements, jointly addressing water resource challenges, and serving national food security and sustainable agricultural development. He also expressed his expectations for the production of leading innovative achievements.
Deng Zhong, director of the Technology Transfer Department of the Institute of Farmland Irrigation, gave a detailed account of the institute’s historical evolution, scientific research strength, key research directions, and the rich achievements it has made in the field of agricultural water-saving irrigation, demonstrating the core role of the Institute as a national-level research institution in promoting technological progress in the industry.
Feng Junjie, deputy director of the Smart Irrigation Research Center, introduced the participants from both sides to the attending guests and elaborated in detail on the background, common goals and specific cooperation contents of this collaboration. He pointed out that this cooperation will focus on the joint research and development, demonstration promotion and industrial application of core technologies and equipment for smart irrigation, aiming to overcome technical bottlenecks in the industry through complementary advantages and provide more efficient, intelligent and green irrigation solutions for modern agriculture.
Jin Liyong, the chairman of Langrun Huifeng, expressed his sincere respect for the scientific research strength and industry status of the Irrigation Institute in his speech.
