Development Zone Tunnel of Lishui Section of Provincial Highway 204
The main structure has been completed
It is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of this month.
This tunnel is not only the first trunk tunnel in the region
It is also the longest trunk tunnel in the city.
The Development Zone Tunnel of the Lishui section of Provincial Highway 204 starts from Binhuai Avenue and ends at Jiaotong West Road. The road grade is a two-way six-lane first-class highway and urban trunk road, with a designed speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a total investment of nearly 1.1 billion yuan. Among them, the buried section of the tunnel is 1,545 meters long, and a pair of tunnel entrance and exit ramps are set between Airport Road and Hehua Road.
At the construction site, workers are building a steel frame structure at the junction of the tunnel and the main road to prepare for the later pouring of concrete. Inside the tunnel, construction workers are spraying fire retardant paint on the top and molding the secondary structure anti-collision wall. The entire tunnel has taken shape.
At present, there are about 150 construction workers working overtime to decorate the interior of the tunnel. The main structure of the entire tunnel section project has been completed, and the overall construction progress has reached 95%. It is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of December.
After the tunnel is completed, it will better optimize the traffic connection between provincial highway transit and important urban sectors and major new cultural and tourism projects, providing a good traffic environment for future development. As an important part of Provincial Highway 204, the tunnel will also further connect
the three districts
of Lishui, Jiangning and Gaochun, becoming one of the main channels for Lishui’s external travel .
At the same time, 90% of the main construction of the Provincial Highway 204
development section has been completed, and the new road is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of December. By then, the transportation network
in the entire district will be more complete, and the travel experience of citizens will be significantly improved. Prior to this, the Lishui section of Provincial Highway 204, with a total length of 23.69 kilometers and a total investment of 3.583 billion yuan
, has been completed and opened to traffic in sections. After completion, the China Fortune Land Development and the West City Trunk Road section and the Honglan section have effectively alleviated the traffic pressure on the original roads, accelerated the coordinated development of various sections in Lishui, and laid a solid foundation for the future development of the entire district.
