Among them, artificial intelligence and robotics are two key offices, and capable forces are guaranteed from the whole city of Nanjing; The two key offices of biomedicine and new generation information and communication rely on member units and two regional technology transfer and transformation centers of national universities, and the members of the office obey the work arrangements and command and dispatch of the office.
In the field of artificial intelligence, Nanjing is the only national artificial intelligence innovation and application pilot area in our province supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The newly established Office will make every effort to make breakthroughs in the innovative application of artificial intelligence models, implement nine major actions, and build a trillion-level software and information service industry.
In the field of robots, Nanjing covers the whole industrial chain such as machine manufacturing, key components, system integration applications, etc., gathering more than 100 R&D and production enterprises, and laying out the construction of a “robot city” in November last year. The newly established Office will support Estun in implementing the “Double 10 Billion” action.
In the field of biomedicine, Nanjing’s industrial revenue exceeded 210 billion yuan last year, and the number of drugs approved for clinical trials, clinical trials, applications for marketing, and approved for marketing in recent years ranked among the top five in large and medium-sized cities in the country. The newly established office will promote the construction of the biomedical sub-center of the regional technology transfer and transformation center of colleges and universities across the country, accelerate the review and approval process of innovative drugs and medical devices, accelerate the progress of listing, and build a characteristic port of biomedical in Nanjing.
In the field of next-generation information and communication, Nanjing’s total industrial scale reached 140 billion yuan last year, gathering more than 400 industrial enterprises above the designated size, and the Future Network Test Facility (CENI) is the only major national scientific and technological infrastructure in the field of information and communication. Relying on the information and communication sub-center of the National University Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center, the newly established Office of Tackling Tough Problems will build a leading platform for the transformation of information and communication achievements in China, and support ZTE in implementing the “Double 100 Billion” action.
