On August 25th, the People’s Government of Jianye District and JD Group held a cooperation signing ceremony. The Nanjing R&D center of JD Group was established in Jianye, marking the significant settlement of another regional center of a Fortune 500 company in Jianye.

The project covers an area of approximately 40.6 mu and has a total construction area of 189,600 square meters. It is positioned as the regional headquarters of JD Group, undertaking the functions of regional headquarters office and R&D center. It integrates business segments such as retail, technology, finance, health, and home services under JD Group, fully leveraging the advantages of Nanjing’s science and education resources. The group has gathered R&D personnel from cutting-edge industries such as AI artificial intelligence, robotics, and driverless technology to work in the office. It is expected to achieve sales of no less than 40 billion yuan within 10 years.

Central enterprises, provincial state-owned enterprises and leading companies in the industry, such as NetEase, Didi, DeepSec, Bilibili, SumeC, Jiangsu Provincial Planning and Design Group, Linyang Energy, Chinasoft International’s Smart Internet of Things Business Group, and the Jiangsu headquarters of CGN New Energy, have all signed agreements to settle down.
