Jianning West Road Cross-River Passage

At present, the Jianning West Road cross-river passage has recently completed the secondary structure construction of the left-line shield tunnel , laying a solid foundation for the subsequent mechanical and electrical, decoration, road surface and other engineering construction. The right-line secondary structure is being constructed in an orderly manner, the right-line shield section crash wall construction has been more than half completed, the cast-in-place lane slab and corbels have been basically completed, and the flue slab installation work is ready.
At the same time, the open-cut section of the pipe-curtain structure from the starting point of the East Extension Project to Yifengmen has been sealed, and the remaining main structure construction is underway. The group pipe jacking work is being carried out in the pipe-curtain structure section. The main structure of the rectangular pipe jacking starting well under the moat is about to be completed, and the retaining structure of the receiving well has been completed. Various preparations before the start of pipe jacking are underway, and the entire line is progressing steadily as planned.
Recently, the main line bridge of the Jiangbei connection line B1 section of the Jianning West Road Cross-River Passage was successfully connected, completing the connection of the expressway over Jiangbei Avenue. The precast beam erection project of the main line bridge over Yongli Railway of the Jiangbei Avenue Interchange, a railway-related project of the Jianning West Road Cross-River Passage, followed closely and recently crossed the railway, realizing the connection between the main line and the steel box beam that has been pushed over the Jiangbei Avenue viaduct.
Huimin Avenue Comprehensive Renovation Project
Construction is progressing steadily
Recently, the Huimin Avenue Comprehensive Renovation Project is carrying out earth excavation and main construction of some tunnel sections. The earth excavation of the main line tunnel foundation pit has been completed by 65%, with an average daily excavation volume of about 4,000 cubic meters. The main structure has been completed by about 35%, and the project construction is progressing steadily.
The project is one of the Jiangnan connecting lines of the Nanjing Jianning West Road cross-river passage. It forms a “T”-shaped underground interchange with the main line of the cross-river passage at the Huimin Avenue node. After completion, it can guide cross-river traffic to the Jiangnan rapid outer ring system in a “quick connection” manner, effectively alleviating the pressure of crossing the river, creating a more comfortable cross-river transportation experience for citizens, and driving the coordinated development of Jiangnan and Jiangbei.
Mengbei Road (Xianlin Avenue-MRT Avenue)
Construction work has been basically completed
At present, the main structure, interior decoration and electromechanical engineering of the tunnel of the Mengbei Road (Xianlin Avenue-MRT Avenue) construction project have been basically completed, the asphalt base and middle layers of the road have been paved, and the sidewalk paving and portal wall decoration construction are underway.
The Mengbei Road Tunnel uses a double-track separated tunnel to cross Longwang Mountain. The excavation span is 19.4 meters, the left and right tunnels have a clear distance of 17 meters, and the excavation face is 194.6 square meters. It is an ultra-large cross-section small clear distance tunnel and the largest underground tunnel in the municipal road engineering in Nanjing so far. The construction of this project breaks the north-south spatial barrier of Longwang Mountain and will connect the road networks of various blocks in the Xianlin area, making travel safer and more convenient for residents in Mengbei and Xianlin areas.
Binjiang Avenue (S338) Yuhuatai Section Project
The overall progress has passed halfway
Recently, the casting construction of the 4th section of the cast-in-place box girder of the main line elevated bridge across the Meigang Railway dedicated line of the Binjiang Avenue (S338) Yuhuatai section project has been successfully completed, successfully achieving another important node in the critical stage. The 3rd section is undergoing formwork and steel bar binding construction, and the overall progress of the project has exceeded half.
As the last link of the Nanjing section of the Yangtze River Expressway S338, after the project is implemented and opened to traffic, the traffic from Jiangning Binjiang to Yuhua, Hexi and other directions will be more convenient, laying a solid foundation for the city’s highway and expressway system to form a “three-ring criss-cross, axial radiation, and group express connection” pattern, and promoting the transportation development of the Nanjing metropolitan area.
Xianxin Road Cross-River Passage Chuhe Bridge
It is expected to be completed by the end of the month
The main bridge and the connecting line project of the Xianxin Road Cross-River Channel, which stands between the Nanjing Baguazhou Yangtze River Bridge and the Qixiashan Yangtze River Bridge, are “ready to go”. It is expected that by the end of October, the continuous box girder of the corrugated steel web cast in the hanging basket of the main bridge across the Chuhe River will be closed and enter the construction stage of the bridge deck auxiliary structure . In addition to the connecting line project, the construction tasks of the Xianxin Road Cross-River Channel are being rushed to the established nodes. The dehumidification system of the anchor room of the north anchorage of the main bridge of the Xianxin Road Cross-River Channel has been installed, and the dehumidification system of the anchor room of the south anchorage is currently being installed.
The Xianxin Road Cross-River Passage is an important link connecting the main urban area, Qixia District and Jiangbei New District, with a total length of about 13.17 kilometers. As the “progress bar” of the project construction continues to refresh, the Xianxin Road Cross-River Passage is steadily moving towards the goal of being connected by the end of the year. After completion and opening to traffic, it will inject strong impetus into Nanjing’s development along the river.
